The model works best when the three key skills are balanced, so look for ways to incorporate the ideas to create a strategy that fits in the center of the diagram. Furthermore, the Challenger Selling Model requires time and dedication; play this game with members of different teams (marketing, sales, development, etc.) to make sure everyone is on board with the transition to this strategy. At the end of the experiment, have a final review about the learnings and make sure that all is properly documented. Before executing any of the effects, the amount of times that the featured icon of the activated card (the small version of the icon that precedes each effect) appears is counted on each player's board. (A running count for how many times each of the six basic icons appears on each player's board is shown in the BGA player panels.) Any player with at least as many of that icon visible as you will share all non-demand effects. Any opponent with fewer of the icon visible than you is vulnerable to demand effects. The icon count is only performed once per Dogma action, and sharing/vulnerability for all the effects on the activated card will be determined by this count, regardless of how the state of the boards changes while the effects are applied.Examine the note cards in the upper right region of the chart. Is there any way to divide these items into more manageable tasks? These smaller assignments may then be separated to different areas depending on their size and priority level. This will make your to-do list less daunting and more efficient. Play Online Trading cards– In a learning and innovation environment, it’s important for your players to build rapport with each other. This is a pretty easy ice breaker game. If you want to really understand your customers, your non-users and even those who have never thought of your products or services as possible solutions, you may want to try an innovation game to help you see, feel and think differently about what really matters to them. What Are Innovation Games? On the contrary, a secondary market search reuses data previously collected for other concerns, to try to answer a question.

Spider Web: A product name appears at the center of a circle drawn in the middle of a whiteboard. Participants draw other products and services, explaining how, when, and why they are used. Participants then draw lines that link these additional services to each other and to the product's circle. Post-up– I really love this device since it helps EVERYONE to contribute. (whether you’re a very vocal person or a quiet thinker) Post it notes are a simple way of capturing an idea. This game gives the team silence and space to reflect upon creating new ideas. Other games can be used to organize those ideas. Discuss the implications of this strategy to your company: How keeping these options open will influence the technology you are developing, the patents you write, the marketing messages you choose etc.

GIG was amazing.. the team loved it! Everything was set up and ready for us and all ran smooth - keep doing what you're doing! ” WILEY The first step of achieving your business goal is always the most difficult. Where do you start? Who can you talk to? Is there anybody that will support you in your risky journey? Fortunately, Deb Colden’s Circles of Influence can help you reach your action potential by identifying connections that will lead you to success. Take advantage of this game to expand your network and turn your thoughts into plans.

It’s common to view polarities through an EITHER / OR lens, but this methodology works through a BOTH / AND lens (i.e. you need both INHALE and EXHALE). Critical pieces of the strategy include accurately defining the polarities and ensuring that poles are value-neutral. A breakdown in the system occurs when one pole is devalued and our energy rushes toward the preferred pole. Once the brainstorm is done, have the players to put their notes on the wall. Ask for volunteers to sort the notes into meaningful categories (see Affinity Map). Once finished, ask the sorters to describe their process. IDEO often begins their ideation sessions by asking “How might we…?” For this exercise, put challenge questions at the top of large index cards, saying “How might we” as the start to a number of various problems you want the group to consider. Give a card to each participant and ask them to write an idea for solving that problem beneath the question. Each participant should then pass the card to the next person. Each time a participant receives a card, they should try to build on the ideas already written, if possible. After a few passes, ask participants to write a wild idea to then keep passing and building upon the written ideas. At the end, favorite cards should be shared with the group. A Dogma action has multiple steps, and is the heart of the game. This represents your civilization turning its main focus to one of the innovations it has adapted.Draw [and ...] when a dogma effect tells you to draw a card, it will always specify what value to draw. Use this value, even if it is different from what a Draw Action would have you draw. If the effect tells you to get that value from another card, and no such card exists (e.g., "Draw a card equal to the value You must choose one of these four actions, you cannot simply "pass". However, it is legal (and sometimes strategically preferred) to perform a Dogma action, activating a top card that will have no effect (for example, the card only has a Demand effect, and no player has fewer icons than you), as a way to effectively "pass" the action. Ask your customers to write down, as detailed and concrete as possible, what your product will have done to make them happy (or successful or rich or safe or smart depending on the core value proposal of your product). Once the brainstorm is done, ask the players to put their notes on the wall. Ask for volunteers to sort the notes into meaningful categories (see Affinity Map). Discuss what these categories might mean for your company and products.

You may only claim achievements that are set aside as "available". Once another player claims an achievement, it is no longer available to be claimed. Y-axis = “Priority” to designate the urgency of the task. This can be measured by anything the players agree is important, such as ROI or business value. What’s next?
