About this deal

It also had a lot of gore, and action, and gore, and haphazard plotting, and gore, and weirdness, and did I mention gore?

Just stay calm, and remember that telling you about the spider situation is not the same as having caused it. I'm just the messenger. Even if I did sort of cause it. Either way, I won't hold it against you if you're upset. I know that's just the spider talking. Arnie’s gaze stayed on my face a little too long, taking in my beads of cold sweat, my pale skin, the thatch of overgrown hair. Instead of pointing out any of that, Arnie said, “You don’t look Asian, Mr. Wong.” Wong, David (2012). This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It. St. Martin's Press. ISBN 9780312546342. South by Southwest (2012). "John Dies At The End". South by Southwest. Archived from the original on May 17, 2012 . Retrieved May 12, 2012. Why Hitchhiker's works: one ominous old man who looks a lot like a Biblical God, who creates fjords and completely fails at intimidation.

JASON "DAVID WONG" PARGIN

The fourth book in the John Dies at the End series, If This Book Exists, You're in the Wrong Universe was released in October 2022. Molly: Molly is David's adoptive dog, an "Irish rust dog", whose tags indicate she previously belonged to the Sullivan family. Dave finds Molly at the party at the beginning of the main storyline. When Dave tries to return the dog, they refuse to receive it, and it follows Dave around for most of the story. And really, beyond that, is there even a plot to this book? I get writing weird for the sake of weird, but isn't there some point in which you have to ask yourself, "Why?"

Tobias, Scott (January 24, 2013). "Spoiler Alert: 'John Dies,' But The Rest? Who Can Tell?". NPR . Retrieved May 12, 2014. The other does a double take, takes a second to consider if this might actually be the best title for a novel...EVER!, fails to think of a better one and HAVE to find out more. The weather varies explosively from day to day in this part of America, the jet stream undulating over us like an angry snake god. I’ve seen a day when the temperature hit one hundred and eight degrees, another when it dipped eighteen degrees below zero, another day when the temperature swung forty-three degrees in eight hours. We’re also in Tornado Alley, so every spring swirling, howling charcoal demons materialize out of the air and shred mobile homes as if they were dropped in huge blenders. There were a couple times where it lost my complete attention. I would catch myself sort of glossing over some of the filler details of the scenario, but on the whole I still found it enjoyable. There are a lot of things about this undisclosed city that the chamber of commerce won’t tell you, like the fact that we have more than quadruple the rate of mental illness per capita than any other city in the state, or that in the ’80s the EPA did a very discreet study of the town’s water supply in hope of finding a cause. The chief inspector on that case was found dead inside one of the water towers a week later, which was considered strange since the largest opening into the tank was a valve just ten inches wide. It was also considered strange that both of his eyes were fused shut, but that’s another story. David and John are a pair of paranormal investigators who live in an unnamed Midwestern town (referred to in the novel as "Undisclosed"). Dave meets reporter Arnie in a local restaurant and recounts the origin of his and John's unusual abilities. So one likely explanation is that when the web series started under the title "John dies at the end", Wong/Pargin may have planned to actually kill him off and simply ditched the idea while the story developed.
