About this deal

Another superb mystery by our talented author “Robin Stevens”😇 This book was so good! The mystery was really good amd there was a twist in the starting too. This book sets in Hong Kong and to be frank I didn’t quite much liked the atmosphere of this book as compared to the other ones.....but that doesn’t makes this book any less good😊 Access-restricted-item true Addeddate 2022-03-01 14:07:58 Bookplateleaf 0002 Boxid IA40294409 Camera Sony Alpha-A6300 (Control) Collection_set printdisabled External-identifier Elizabeth Hurst, la terrible préfète-en-chef, est retrouvée morte en plein feu d’artifice… Très vite, Hazel et Daisy se rendent compte que tout le monde a un mobile : Elizabeth utilisait les secrets des élèves pour les faire chanter. Toutes la détestaient, même ses plus proches amies… et toutes sont suspectes.

The fantastic new mystery from the author of Murder Most Unladylike. Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong have returned to Deepdean for a new school term, but nothing is the same. There’s a new Head Girl, Elizabeth Hurst, and a team of Prefects – and these bullying Big Girls are certainly not good eggs. Then, after the fireworks display on Bonfire Night, Elizabeth is found – murdered. Many girls at Deepdean had reason to hate Elizabeth, but who might have committed such foul play? Could the murder be linked to the secrets and scandals, scribbled on scraps of paper, that are suddenly appearing around the school? And with their own friendship falling to pieces, how will Daisy and Hazel solve this mystery? Jolly Foul Play (Murder Most Unladylike Mysteries, #4) by Robin Stevens – eBook Details And with Deepdean running riot, and their own friendship falling apart, can the Detective Society solve the case? And now, the credits. I might have been the only person giving the author talks, but I couldn’t possibly have got to my destinations, set up the rooms or sold the books without the help of an enormous team of people. They fed me, drove me, cheered me on and generally supported me, and I’m enormously grateful. So let’s hear it for … I wish I could have seen Daisy's look during the trip, as I am sure she pulled some great faces. :P I absolutely loved the sixth entry in the series. It's an A for me, so five stars here. In this book Hazel and Daisy go far away from their English boarding school, all the way to Hong Kong. Hazel's grandfather has died, and though she will miss the funeral (travel by ship from England to Hong Kong does take awhile), she will be there to mourn with her family. And of course, Daisy goes along with Hazel.

Things had changed at Deepdean. All of the rules had bent, and the power had moved. Elizabeth Hurst’s reign was over and none of us knew what would happen next.” May Wong has returned with her new friends Eric and Nuala as the heroes of my newest series the Ministry of Unladylike Activity! Ministry is also out in German, and it will publish in Italian and Polish in 2024. And its sequel, The Body in the Blitz, is out now in the UK and Ireland! Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong have returned to Deepdean School for a new school term, but nothing is the same. But when they arrive they discover something they didn't expect: there's a new member of the Wong family. Daisy and Hazel think baby Teddy is enough to deal with, but as always the girls are never far from a mystery. Tragedy strikes very close to home, and this time Hazel isn't just the detective. She's been framed for murder! This time Daisy and Hazel are on Hazel’s home turf - Hong Kong, and solving a complex case connected to her family. Hazel being deeply invested in the case and Daisy being out if her depth might hinder their deductions a bit but in the end the girls will triumph and the truth will be revealed.😉 Questa volta siamo ad Hong Kong, e non più in Gran Bretagna, e questo cambiamento si è visto non solo nei luoghi e nelle tradizioni cinesi, ma anche nel capovolgimento del rapporto fra le due investigatrici: è Hazel ad essere la vera protagonista, solo lei parla e capisce il cantonese, e Daisy si ritrova, suo malgrado, ad essere la spalla.

Her father's second wife (yes, he has two) has just given him a baby boy, Teddy. Hazel loves her two little half-sisters, but takes an immediate dislike to Teddy. All of her father's focus is now on Teddy, and her beloved maid has been given to Teddy. You deserve to sit down and have a nice rest. Those bunbreaks looked really tasty espicially the macaroons. I really can not wait for book 5 to come out, but I am sure the time will fly past! Representation: Hazel (mc) is Chinese; Daisy (mc) is a lesbian; sc with an amputated arm; Chinese scs.

Hello Detectives! There’s just ONE MONTH TO GO until the second book in my new series, The Body in the Blitz, is published!Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are taking a holiday on the world-famous Orient Express – and it’s clear that each of their fellow first-class passengers has something to hide. Even more intriguing: there is rumour of a spy in their midst. Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are taking a holiday on the world-famous Orient Express - and it's clear that each of their fellow first-class passengers has something to hide. Mm, I think I have said everything I wanted to write about, this was just too much fun to read. Great mystery, Hong Kong was so much fun. I was so exciting about this book that I just couldn't wait and bought it during my trip in London. Yay for the book coming out in the week I was going to London. It is just so much fun to buy a book in the bookstore (especially during its release week), I so wish we had some good English bookstores here with the prices as they have in England (and not double, triple or even more of the price like English books are here).
