Five seconds after the last sound effect is played, the Tamagotchi will enter a power-saving mode, indicated by the screen dimming slightly. It will come out of this mode the next time a sound is played, whether on its own volition or through the user pressing a button. The Tamagotchi can be kept in this mode perpetually by turning the sound off. The Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi is a licensed Tamagotchi Nano model based on the video game series Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts Concert -First Breath- | Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World Tour- | Kingdom Hearts Orchestra -World of Tres- | Kingdom Hearts Concert -Second Breath- Originals have soldered on speakers while replicas have coil speakers, causing them to have louder sound. The Discipline icon is used to scold the Tamagotchi for misbehavior. Occasionally, the Tamagotchi will call for attention when its Hungry and Happy meters are not completely empty, and refuse to eat or play games. When this occurs, the user must use the Discipline icon. When used correctly, a special sound effect will play and the attention icon will turn off. Using the icon when the Tamagotchi is not misbehaving will cause it to lose a Happy heart. The amount of discipline the Tamagotchi receives directly affects what they grow up into. Each successful punishment adds 25% to the discipline meter, but the discipline level may be reduced by evolution. Pink Agaricus: The character will be fighting a pink agaricus. The user has 10 seconds to press the A button as much as they can to hit them. Kingdom Hearts is a series of action role-playing games developed by Square Enix and owned by The Walt Disney Company that serves as a crossover between its own original characters and the latter's film portfolio. The series follows the protagonist Sora as he travels across worlds from Disney with Donald and Goofy. Their goal is to stop the Heartless, monsters born from darkness, from invading each world by sealing their keyhole and restoring peace. On the Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi, the user is tasked with raising Sora and other characters while keeping them safe from the Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed. I've been enjoying the Kingdom Hearts tamagotchi so far, but this is my second time, and both times, Sora has turned into a heartless!! This is my first tamagotchi since childhood, so I'm not sure what conditions there could be to determine what he evolves into, but I'm kind of baffled!

Take the stage with the Hatsune Miku Tamagotchi Nano, which lets you take care of Hatsune Miku by giving notes and playing the three different mini-games. Depending on your play pattern, Hatsune Miku’s costumes may change into one of the ten costumes from her Magical Mirai events, or she may introduce Piapro characters. Tamagotchi Nano models have no on-screen icons, and therefore all information is conveyed through the screen and buttons. The pet is cared for by filling its meters; they have Hungry and Happy meters, each consisting of four units, which are both empty when they're born. On all models, the Hungry meter decreases by one unit per hour, and the Happy meter decreases by one every 50 minutes. If either becomes empty, the pet will call for attention to fill them. Gudetama Tamagotchi: Released in Japan in December 2017, the USA in December 2018, and in Europe in early 2019. It features raising the Sanrio character Gudetama, caring for it until it's cooked into an egg dish. Naturally you’ll be feeding them Kingdom Hearts-themed food, too, like Paopu Fruit and Sea Salt Ice Cream.

After their initial production and release between 1996 and 1998, replica units were released in Japan in 2017 to celebrate the brand's 20th anniversary. In 2018, the models were distributed globally, and have since been released seasonally with new shell designs. BT21 Tamagotchi: Released in Japan in September 2021 and South Korea and the USA in February 2022, this model is based on BT21, a series of mascot characters based on the band BTS. The user is tasked with caring for a robot and later one of the seven possible mascots. Is there a way to aim for a specific character? I want to eventually get Ventus, but I'm not sure how to go about it. It’s Halloween and fittingly Nintendo has added a trio of games featuring the likes of aliens, demons, and vampires to the standard Nintendo Switch Online selection! For the NES library we have two games that originally skipped North America. Demon World, a game directed by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto that… Whenever Sora appears hungry or cranky, he can be fed food from the menu. From the FOOD menu, you can select a paopu fruit to satisfy his hunger, or a sea-salt ice cream to cheer him up. When the character is a Heartless, the FOOD menu is replaced by the HEART menu, and the paopu Fruit and Sea-salt ice cream are replaced with a heart and exclamation mark, respectively. Sora cannot be given food when he is tense, sleeping, or when enemies are around. When Sora is full, you cannot give him any more paopu Fruit.

The icon is a syringe on all Japanese versions, and on all English generation 1 models. For English generation 2 models in 1997, it is a bottle of medicine with a spoon. On the 2017 rereleases, the icon is a syringe on all versions in all regions. Slots: Three spinning slots appear with three possible images. Pressing A or B stops the slots one at a time (left first, then middle, then right). The game last five rounds, and after the third round, the slots will spin faster. The user must successfully match the images five times for a perfect game.

The Tamagotchi features a Health meter screen that shows the Tamagotchi's overall stats. The first screen displays age (one year being the equivalent of one day) and weight (measured in grams on the Japanese versions, ounces on international P1s, and pounds on international P2s), the second displays Discipline, the third shows Hungry, and the fourth shows Happy. There are a total of four hearts each for hunger and happiness, with white hearts representing an empty stat. The rate at which hearts decrease depends on the character, and also how old they are in regards to adults. Using the Health meter regularly allows the user to know their Tamagotchi's needs, allowing them to make decisions that influence the Tamagotchi's overall care, which in turn impact the Tamagotchi's evolutions throughout its life cycle. Hello Kitty Tamagotchi: Released in the USA and Europe in December 2020, this model features the Sanrio character Hello Kitty. The user cares for Tamagotchi characters, while Hello Kitty plays games with the Tamagotchi and cleans up messes left behind by Joey. Menus on the screen are typically portrayed with Japanese or English text. Later models have used graphics for the menu options instead, allowing models to be distributed globally without the need of translating the device's text.Gummi Ship: The character will be piloting a gummi ship and must avoid incoming asteroids from the left. Pressing the A or B button will move the ship up and down. Avoiding 5 asteroids is a perfect game.

If it went low, the Tamagotchi would make it vanish really slowly. All Tamagotchi releases afterward, starting from the Mothra Tamagotchi in Japan and the Tamagotchi Angel internationally, would feature a low battery screen. The 20th Anniversary re-release features a low battery screen, indicated by a sprite of a battery with a large X over it.

To cope with the high demand, in addition to China, devices were manufactured in Indonesia and Taiwan.
