If you're dead set on trying an edamame-flavored Kit Kat bar, opt for the Edamame Milkshake Kit Kat. It not only smells nicer, it also tastes a lot better; instead of being bland, this version has a satisfying amount of sweetness and a hint of vanilla flavoring. It may be difficult to find but it's well worth the effort, especially if Edamame Kit Kat is the alternative.

The year 2003 was a turning point for the Kit Kat bar as well as the confectionery industry in general. The popularity of low carb diets, and the push to healthier eating stifled sales growth in many parts of the world.
