Genres: Fiction / Family Life / General, Fiction / Friendship, Fiction / General, Fiction / Romance / Contemporary, Fiction / Romance / General, Fiction / Romance / Romantic Comedy, Fiction / Women The most life-affirming and uplifting debut you will read this year. Perfect for fans of Jill Mansell, Fiona Gibson and Clare Pooley. Jake was a super fun, interesting and charming love interest who really brought out the best in her and the ending was truly satisfying as endings go.

This was such a fun, delightful, and adorable read. I finished this in less than 24 hours because I couldn’t put it down. I loved the writing style, the magic, loved just about everything. I loved the addition of Lydia's family, with her Polish mother, and her almost silent, English father, and the smorgasbord of characters who make up their family of friends, Cute story about rediscovering yourself after a divorce. The premise was fun but the whole tension that causes the issue between Lydia and Jake was farfetched - he got to know her, what does it matter what her name was? And it was silly that it took her that long to tell him. His deception was much larger and should have caused the rift, not hers. Other than that, I found the story to be interesting and I loved the relationship between Lydia and her mother as well as the relationship between her and her daughter.I so appreciated this uplifting charming comedy. Prior to starting I had expected its lead character would certainly be called Lily Bennett, yet no. Overall it wasn’t a bad read, I’m not sure if Jake should have forgiven Lydia for basically lying to him for months. The man didn’t even know her real name and she had sex with him. How is that ok? Very odd. Jake assumes Lydia is Lily and she doesn't put him right, which later causes a bit of trepidation and wonder about what she is going to do when it comes to it, as they embark on the adventures together. Although this is a holiday romance book in style and therefore comes complete with a predictable ending, it did not disappoint, it was funny and thoroughly enjoyable! Despite her heart aching for Jake, there was another issue that temporarily grabbed Lydia’s attention. And she was accompanied on this adventure by her daughter, Ollie, who was an absolute star and an excellent character all the way through. Ollie had found Lily Bennett. This was also a hugely exciting point for me too, and I loved that it appeared towards the end of the book! I loved how there was much more to the original Lily Bennett than we’d thought throughout the whole book, and I thought how everything came together was very clever indeed. Who knew I’d fall in love with yet another character so close to the ending?! Even though it was a late introduction, Lily’s character appeared at a crucial time for Lydia. It made her realise who she really is, what she can achieve and what she’s already achieved, with Jake’s help of course. And hopefully, their meeting would give her the confidence and the drive to do what is right (and also to right some wrongs!)

Thank you to HarperCollins, One More Chapter, and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review! This book is fantastic and shares a great message to its readers. Hold onto those who bring out the best of you and let go of the ones who try to change you. This book gives you strangers to lovers, adventure, love, tears, and so many laughs. I have can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard while reading a book. The message that this book gave, we can relate to and that is to keep those in your life that like you for who you are, and let those go that try to change you. The book had everything, adventure, tears, love as well as many laughs. Phenomenal . . . I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait to read more from this awesome author’ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This was a fun book to read and a lovely one for summer. It is amazing what someone can do when they decide to try new things. Enjoy this 5 star book. Its lead is Lydia Grey, who at 39 has returned to live with her moms and dads adhering to the malfunction of her twenty-year marital relationship to Adam. Lydia absolutely feels washed up and is just experiencing the movements. Furthermore her little girl, Ollie, has actually just started a six-month overseas trip as well as Lydia is missing her. I loved reading this book. The characters were all lovable Lydia, Jake, Ollie, Aga, Tosh, Mila, etc, all will be rememberable. Thank you to One More Chapter, Harper Collins Canada and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this absolutely delightful ebook. Now, I won't tell you the whys and the wherefores, but that list is in Lydia's hands, and from afar, her daughter engineers a way for her to complete this strangers list, to feel more adventurous

However, deception aside, I really liked Lily and just adored Jake. Together they made a believable and lovely couple and I was rooting for them throughout the book.I haven’t been so excited to read a book like this in a long time. These characters just pulled me into their amazing group of love and friendship making me feel like I belonged there with them. Never before have I felt like I was part of a story until this book. Lydia Grey is 39 when she's dumped by her husband of twenty years for a young Italian supermodel and ultramarathoner. He tells Lydia that she's boring and that their marriage has become stale. How can she compete? I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.*** I felt empathy for Lydia wanting to become more adventurous, attempting the difficult challenges encouraged by Jake who believes that Lydia is Lily Bennett. But Jake also has secrets of his own.
