Line the bottom of the container with a layer of gravel, then use the large stones to create hiding spots for wildlife. Keeping your pond healthy

Place a log inside so it reaches the top of the container. This allows animals to escape if they fall in. Autumn is the main time for pond maintenance, after amphibians have left the pond but before pond life has gone completely dormant.
