If you study in a language school in Japan, you will very likely be using this series, and for good reason. The Minna no Nihongo series is divided into two main levels: Shokyu (Beginner) and Chukyu (Intermediate). Each level is split into multiple books, covering different topics and aspects of the language. The progression of the series is designed to help learners build their Japanese language skills step by step, guiding them from the basics to more advanced topics over time. Therefore, if you want to use Minna no Nihongo for N5, it is necessary for you to get the syllabus of what you need for N5.
