Confirmed 2280 mAh rating as marked on the battery and compatibility with all cameras using the EN-EL 15, including all DSLRs. A spare battery is one of the most essential camera accessories to have in your bag – particularly if you are traveling, or shooting a long event such as a wedding. Most serious photographers will have at least a couple of spares in their camera bag. Doesn't sound like the guy tested the battery in anything other than his Z cameras, so how does he know it works in all EN-EL15 battery cameras? Nikon says otherwise.Nikon does not guarantee the operation of products released in the past that are not listed in the table. read less It is compatible with the MH-25 and MH-25a chargers, or, when used with Z cameras, it can be charged in-camera using the EH-7P Charging AC Adapter. I didn’t say 4 c are equal to 5 b. But it may now be the case that I only need 4 batteries instead of five. This battery has the EN-EL15 form factor and can be used as a higher capacity substitute for previous generation batteries. I thought the primary benefit was it allows in-camera charging via USB while the camera is still on. But looks like it is spec'ed at 20% more capacity too which is nice. I have not seen any difference that I can attribute to the battery. If there is a difference, it's small and what/how you shoot makes more difference than the battery.

If you have a good deal on a legitimate B version, get it. The C is a better choice if you expect in camera charging. Also, there's a school of thought, which, I think, deserves some consideration, which says that battery life in these cameras is better measured as the length of time that a battery lasts, regardless of what you're asking of it. Not to mention the fact that they are apparently less likely to combust than current lithium ion cells.
