About this deal

Definitely more gourmand than the original, but less than the intense. Not sunscreen category at all! It's smooth, creamy and blends really well with my skin chemistry. Its smell is delicious, it is the perfect summer perfume. I am in love with this perfume, it's so addictive. The sillage is really good, and it lasts +12h on my skin My favorite times to wear this is either early summer mornings when it is still cool and crisp, or mild and breezy spring days. When I wear this under these conditions, I get a beautiful, airy and almost aquatic jasmine scent supported by a very unique type of vanilla that reminds me of warm sand, with a slightly salty note. This feels like sitting on a warm sandy beach, overlooking the ocean and the breeze brings floral scents from afar which mixes beautifully with the salt and sand. I especially enjoy wearing this in airy and breezy conditions, catching whiffs of this perfume from a gentle breeze around you is fantastic.

Paco Rabanne

The signature Paco Rabonee Olympéa flacon in soft bronze colour, decorated with laurel wreath features a gold printing to the front and is topped with a mahogany-coloured cap. I have been wearing the hell out of my little sample recently, and this really is a stunning, warm scent. Opens up with sweet citruses, tropical ylang-ylang and freshly peeled orange slices and has a thread of the original salty Olympea DNA. This becomes very smooth and feminine with the addition of vanilla toasted benzoin, giving it an almost caramel quality. I think this could be worn for any occasion, but my first thought went to a luxurious wedding hosted at a plush beach resort on a paradise island. This really is very classy and just beautiful. So warm and elegant. These are different, but there are some similarities with beachy sweetness. AG has a more forward jasmine, while OS has a more forward tiare. Both are quite sweet, with well above average performance.

Paco Rabanne Olympea Eau de Parfum

Olympéa Intense Eau de Parfum is an oriental floral fragrance launched in 2016. This majestic scent is an ode to a modern days muse, the woman that has it all – the feminine confidence and seductive powers, making all eyes to turn towards her. I've been interested in testing out more salty perfumes this summer, and this is the perfect amount of saltiness. Not too much, but it's noticeable. I won't be getting it this year, but maybe next year...I'm guessing it's not going anywhere, since they keep making flankers of this. Opening is white floral, vanilla and salt. It's very good for summer, though maybe not in suuuuper intense heat. Now, that being said, I think this would layer beautifully with a coconut body lotion. I'd try to go for a subtle, natural-smelling coconut (and not the super gourmand, desserty type) so it only complements the creamy accord without over-powering the rest of the fragrance. |You don't have permission to access "http://www.sephora.co.uk/p/PACO-RABANNE-Olympea-Flora-Eau-de-Parfum-Intense-80ml" on this server.

Paco Rabanne Olympea Intense Eau de Parfum 30ml - Superdrug

The face of the perfume is Brazilian model Luma Grothe. The bottle is shaped like a laurel crown, designed by Marc Ange. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum. Smells like something else that smells like something else..It has no 'character', sweet coconut and Tiare blend, very common scent.

Beautiful model, beautiful bottle (don't really care but it's a nice bonus), curious about the juice. And yes, solar oak Moss? 🤔 Marketing at it's best, but ok sure I'll bite 😂

The salty note in the beginning is extremely strange to me. I don’t think I’ve ever smelt something quite like that before and it’s intriguing. It lingers quite a while but the dry down is pure jasmine and I’m just in awe. I’m not sure yet.. reminds me of a mix between dolce garden and PDM Oriana with citrus. Definitely solar and summery. As with other people here I was trapped into the hype and marketing and blind-bought hoping for something amazing. At first spray I loved it. Though it reminded me of my local mall it also brought warm fuzzy memories. Possibly the salt and warm vanilla reminds me of the pretzel stand right next to the chocolate/ice cream shop? And jasmine is usually such a comforting scent to me. They share smoooothly dense, almost chewy - and incredibly HAPPY - traits. But this one is with orange and caramel. Like candy, but not sugary-cloying.

The sweetness could have been half of what it is for me but i just won't overspray. It's on my radar to test on skin. Really like it for a clean but warm ambery tiare ylang floral . Also, my nose prefers niche by a mile. Stupid nose. This one does not smell like "perfumey designer" to me upon first testing. I do like the trend designers are going these days. Less eighties, nineties and more current. Well done. This might be my first paco Rabanne... Keep you posted. This smells amazing! The opening is very fresh and fun with a lot of that saltiness tempered by beachy flowers. The dry down turns sultry and smells like a smokey gourmand. The vibe of this frag is definitely that effortlessly gorgeous sun kissed surfer babe that spends all day hanging with the chiseled dudes on the beach. The girls are all jealous to the point of hatred and all of the guys want to date her but she only sees them as friends except for one, who holds her heart. At the end of a long day on the waves they all lay down some blankets and roast some marshmallows on the beach. Her eyes meet his across the fire and she gets goosebumps. It opens quite citrusy-fresh and floral with the jasmine, and gets warmer as time goes on, in the same way as the original- before you realise, you're surrounded by sunny creamy tropical flowers.
