They’re a great cast of characters, and I was more interested in these characters’ journeys than I was expecting. In some ways, this is more like 5 or 6 individual stories that just happen to occur at the same place.

LIANE MORIARTY delivers quite the fascinating, intriguing, vulnerable, lifelike, and beautifully written read here with quirky and realistic characters, a brazen and dynamic premise and an extremely spellbinding and enthralling storyline.

Having never read any books by the popular author Megan Miranda previously or the highly successful "All The Missing Girls" I was looking forward to trying out this author by reading her latest offering "The Perfect Stranger". Truth and story—doesn’t matter which comes first as long as you get where you need to be at the end. As long as you end at the truth, all’s fair.” The script is very different from the book in that it ends very differently for a lot of different characters," Samara told Digital Spy, before specifically suggesting that Nicole Kidman’s character Masha will see her fate altered.

Each of the remaining Nine Perfect Strangers episodes will premiere on Hulu on a weekly basis on Wednesdays. Episodes 1-3 have already landed, meaning that episode 4 will air on August 25, episode 5 on September 1, episode 6 on September 8 and episode 7 on September 15. Queen Camilla looks stylish in a preppy navy suit and glasses as she and King Charles fly in style to Kenya Paul and I watched the first two episodes- out of the three that are available- on Hulu last night —

Just yesterday one of the other teachers said there was a bear in his yard. Just that: a bear in his yard. Like it was a thing one might or might not notice in passing. Graffiti on the overpass, a burnt-out streetlight. Just a bear.” Leah Stevens has moved away from Boston, leaving a scandal behind her and embracing a new career in teaching, living with her friend Emmy and building a new life. Then Emmy disappears. And it is like she never existed in the first place.... The last third of the book goes a little off the rails for a very long stretch. I won’t give away anything, but there’s a lengthy section where not very much is happening and to the extent that stuff is happening, it’s just kind of weird and not in interesting way. It also gets a little repetitive, hammering in points it previously made about the various characters. Sometimes the story drags a bit. The storyline of the reporter felt more like filler, although she did help with one important step near the end. The story concludes with a beautiful communication, an important one. It was a fitting ending, unique, instead of the standard cooky-cutter ending, and I liked that a lot.

In the end I thought this was a decent read, I guess I was just hoping for more. But of course, this is just my opinion and there will probably be many other readers who will really enjoy this book. While I definitely didn't like this one as much as All the Missing Girls, I still look forward to reading more from Megan Miranda. Leah and Emmy settle in. They don't see each other a lot during the week as Emmy often works the night shift. She doesn't have a cell phone either, so Leah has to leave her post-it notes if she has a message for her. When Leah realizes that the notes haven't been moved at all, she realizes it's been a couple of days since she has seen her. Because of their different schedules, it's not completely out of the ordinary so she tries not to worry.Leah was a dogged journalist determined to get to the truth no matter the cost. Looking for a new start, she feels it’s time to cut her losses and move on. The true reason Leah left Boston remains a mystery for most of the book. I loved all the characters. They are a zany group of people, flawed of course, some dealing with deeper issues than others, but all of them are so human and real. I rooted for and cared for them all, but Frances remained a favorite character for me from start to finish. Heather, Zoe, and Napoleon have the meatiest story in the book and evoke some serious emotions.
