I live on the Essex coast in a lovely two-bed-roomed flat, which I share with my husband, Michael. At long last I have an office to write in, with room for all my books and bits of scribbled on papers. If you choose to use the activity as seat work, kids can sequence the story as you read it aloud or share the video above. With this book, we have now read the whole underpants series - Miss 4 would have been quite happy for there to be more! She loves looking at all the different pictures of underwear. She also likes the bedroom scene at the end where there are references to the books and the idea that the stories have been made up with the toys in the room. These free preschool printables are great any time of year, but they’re especially fun in the days leading up to Talk Like a Pirate Day or used within your ocean-themed lesson plans. What is story sequencing? Streetcat Bob (20 x 2 minutes) is a short-form pre-school animated series inspired by the International best-selling book “A Street Cat Named Bob”. This was cute and fun. The illustrations are nice and the rhythm of the book is easy enough to find. The plot is pretty clear and it is well paced, this is probably one of the better books in the series. Though at the same time, the series is fairly repetitive in a way. Things snowballed and a lot (yes lots and lots) of hard work later I now write full time and have over 50 books published. I still go to the same writing class and we have become a big happy family of writers! The seafront is (still) just around the corner, and I find a bracing walk (it gets freezing when the East wind blows from the North Sea!) or gentle stroll when the weather is warmer, is great for clearing my head and mulling over story ideas.
