About this deal

GENGAR!? ON A CONTROLLER!? SOLD! Also nice to see mimkyu. And is that a case to go along with them? Double sold! If these were proper fully-featured Joy-Con, I would absolutely leap at these, but as they are, it’s a hard pass. Rumble often makes such a tangible difference in games, especially as I have been mostly playing classic DOOM over the last couple of months, so much so that playing it on PC again without the tactility of rumble feels like a downgrade! (though both platforms have their pros and cons) johnvboy didn’t they release a special edition just months before dropping the oled. Maybe xenoblade. I can’t remember

Hori have just released Split Pad Pro Attachment Set where you buy the big controllers and a middle bit that makes the Split Pad Pro into a wired controller with a headphone/microphone port. (I haven't seen the middle bit sold separately yet.) Watch out for the Split Pad Fit get sold with this middle bit in the future maybe. When he’s not paying off a loan to Tom Nook, Liam likes to report on the latest Nintendo news and admire his library of video games. His favourite Nintendo character used to be a guitar-playing dog, but nowadays he prefers to hang out with Judd the cat. Not that Hori is wrong, they need to print their stuff with what will make them more money, but those I said are so repetitive that its gotten boring already. 20 years ago, eevee, pikachu, charmander, etc were already boring clichés. Plus, I overwhelmingly prefer tabletop mode when out and about (and the slightly larger screen of the OLED model makes a big difference), which is another deal-breaker. HD rumble though, now there's something that I actually use and value. That, and the type of games that I would desire a d-pad for aren't the type of games that I would need a gyro and camera for anyways. I don't really have much need of them, have a Split Pad Pro and two and a half sets of Joycons (have an extra right one) with no one to really play with anyway, but that Pikachu and Mimikyu one is fairly tempting. Funny how they only mention "don't include HD Rumble, NFC an IR camera or wireless functions", but what bugs me the more is gryo control, and they don't say a thing about the controller not having it, like if it was less important. rjejr hello Sir, I find playing Tetris 99 with the JoyCon in the grip the best way, better than my Splatoon2 pro controller because of the dpad. I was very underwhelmed, when I saw this one. I recently got the Splatoon 3 OLED and it is so much better. I like it. I got the Splatoon 3 version myself, I think the Pokemon one looks even better (besides the Joy-cons, the Splatoon 3 ones are way better), but I never buy a on a game(franchise) based SE console if I don't like that game(franchise).I spotted the Pikachu and Mimikyu one on Play Asia last night, but not the Gengar one. They’re both quite nice-looking, but the Gengar one even more so. Original Article (Fri 23rd Sep, 2022 02:55 BST): Accessory-maker Hori has revealed it's teaming up with The Pokémon Company to release Pokémon-themed Split Pad Fit. In addition to a brand new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Nintendo has announced a special edition Switch OLED based on the new entries. SwitchForce Eh, at that point I'd rather sell off my base Switch model. Wouldn't be worth as much, but I'd rather sell off the least relevant model to me

Just curious if people think Nintendo should drop it, it at least upgrade it to have a built in battery and charger to keep the Joy on going for Switch 2. As is, I see no reason for a Switch 2 box to have them. IDK maybe they're used in Japan a lot? 🤷

Question: Do you, or anyone you know, use that cheap plastic grip which hasn't changed in 5 1/2 years? I really think it serves no purpose. I do have 1 kid who uses it occasionally but they mostly just use they Switched h in handheld and in over 2 years never bought any other controllers. My other kid and I use Pro or faux Pro, but when I do use the Joy con it's b/c I want them split for motion or something, so not putting them in the Grip. Why would anyone use these over the standard Split Pads? These seem like they’d be less comfortable. Guide: Pokémon GO Special Evolutions – How To Get Pangoro, Sylveon, Glaceon, Aromatisse, Slurpuff, Sirfetch’d, Galarian Cofagrigus And More With this and the Splatoon 3 edition OLED models being released, the chances of a pro are getting slimmer all the time.
