Description

I’m using this particular model as it works wonders for charging my Nintendo Switch. The included USB C - USB C cable does a great job of charging the system when I travel (often). It’s definitely a 20100+, and it comes with all three cables included. I’m using the USB A - to USB C cable as I thought that was the recommended one to charge the Powercore itself.

The results? The Nintendo Switch Edition charged the Switch 289%. The Speed 20000 PD charged it 295%. Again, when you consider a margin of error there isn’t much difference. The ±6% equals ~10 minutes of playtime. Anker recommends using this with all Apple and Android smartphones and tablets. It can also charge up some laptops and MacBooks, including the 12-inch MacBook 2015, but it's worth noting not all devices will be compatible. I watched a test on YouTube of 3 all on switch aNd charging whilst playing the same repeated thing on Zelda. The PowerCore 20100 should also be able to charge most small devices, like your smartphone, a few times over.

A downside to a portable charger of this massive capacity is that it takes long to recharge. Depending on your wall charger, it can take anywhere from 10 hours to a whopping 20 hours. This is negated by its long use time though, and is not that big a problem as you’ll probably be charging it once a week at max. Conclusion The Anker PowerCore III 10K makes portable charging hassle-free. It comes with two USB ports and a wireless charging pad to charge all your devices. Both USB ports can offer a speedy charge. They are each rated for 18W.

Their power meter readings were quite similar. Charging the two portable chargers also gave near-identical results. Earlier this week we reviewed Anker’s PowerCore 10000 and were charmed by its quality and happily crowned it the best powerbank in the 10,000mAh range. Let’s see if the 20,000mAh version – the Anker PowerCore 20100– can impress us as much as its smaller brother did. Design and Portability I still can’t get the last light to stop blinking. MooPenguin32 Many thanks for posting a link to the documentation. This is exactly what I was referring to in my initial response, and it's what prevented my GPD WIN 2 from charging at all on my old charger. I’ve left my Anker Powercore 20100+ charging for about 20 hours now. I’m using the included USB-C to USB-A type cable. It’s connected to my iPad wall adaptor. All LED light indicators are solid except for the last LED light, which is still blinking. Will it stop blinking when it is fully charged?? I’ve left it overnight and it’s still blinking. The important thing to bear in mind is that, on average, your Switch will charge slower using anything other than a USB-C. This likely won't be an issue if you only plan on charging the Switch while it isn't in use, but if you want to keep your battery topped up while playing, you'll want a USB-C option. That way it will charge as fast as you're using it, keeping your Switch at 100%. When PowerCore II 20000 is charging your device, the LED power meter will stay on, displaying the battery’s remaining power. The light will fade when the device is fully charged and no longer drawing a current. The last LED light will flash when the remaing power is lower than 10% and turn off when lower than 5%. Surge protection, short circuit protection, and more advanced safety features keep you and your devices safe. After seeing the awesome digital battery reading on the iMuto 20000mAh yesterday, I’m a little bummed out that this unit treats us with LED battery indicators again. When powerbanks reach huge capacities as this, it’s incredibly useful to see exactly how much charge is left in the device. Four LED battery indicators just aren’t accurate enough and are precisely that, “indicators”.

On the other hand, the wireless charger is rated for up to 10W. That should give you a decent charging speed too. And as it is Qi-certified, you can easily use the wireless charging pad with most of your accessories and phones. Home > Computers & Software > Portable Chargers > Anker Portable Chargers > Anker PowerCore 20100 Portable Charger Manual Anker PowerCore 20100 Portable Charger Before we discuss the power of the Anker PowerCore 20100, it’s important to note that according to Anker, the power bank is not compatible with the following devices: But that is not the only that’s great about this power bank. It has enough battery capacity to charge up a dead iPhone 14 Plus to 43 percent in just an hour and 45 minutes. The portable battery bank also has passthrough technology. That means you can charge up your iPhone while charging the ArcHybrid Mag. Highlighted Features One end of the Anker PowerCore 20100 then has two USB ports so you can plug in your own charging cables and charge two devices at once. There's also a micro USB slot for charging up the charger itself. You can buy a version with a USB-C slot, but that's a touch more expensive at the moment.

Anker states this portable charger is optimized for the Nintendo Switch. This is interesting given the data shows it is a variation of the PowerCore Speed 20000 PD. The Anker PowerCore 20100 power bank is capable of simultaneously connecting to a maximum of two devices. With a battery capacity of 20100 mAh, this power bank provides sufficient power for prolonged usage. The power bank is charged via a USB charging source. With a width of 166 millimeters, a depth of 58 millimeters, and a height of 22 millimeters, it is relatively compact and easily portable. Weighing in at 356 grams, it is also lightweight, enhancing its portability. Different model laptops have different power demands. But in general, this would support most 12-inch laptops. A 30W output would be ideal, but 24W is close enough. Optimized for the Switch? Nintendo Switch Edition vs Speed 20000 PDPrice is no limit? Want ridiculous capacities and loads of ports? Go crazy with these options. MAXOAK 50,000 Charging up this charger itself is likely to take around 10 hours though, so you'll have to wait quite a while for the power bank itself to charge up. Anker also says some lower amp charging cables will take even longer to charge it. Anything else I should know?
