Thanks Richard, so it's SBR outside and PVA inside..............from reading some previous posts it seems that using PVA on the exterior is a definate no-no! and a hose pipe is the way forwards So there you go. PVA and Uses With Timber

An important point to make is If the surface you are working on is external and likely to be washed with rain regularly, PVA is not the best product to use. You apply the first coat, wait for it to completely dry and then apply the second coat. The second coat is slightly different.
