About this deal

The lower midrange is recessed and lies in a valley between the bass and upper mids. The exaggerated upper mids result in occasional shoutiness and unwanted resonance but the stifled harmonics can be distracting. Treble The SeeAudio Yume have a beautiful design. One faceplate has the brand logo, and “See”, for SeeAudio, written on it. On the other side, we have the logo for the Yume model and “Yume” written on it. An individual logo for a model? That’s new!

Review: Seeaudio x Z Reviews Rinko - Mobileaudiophile

Very nice pairing, but the sound is duller than the “Soundstage Revealer”. Instrument are also lusher and weightier in this synergy compared to the ones below. This synergy also gives the vocals that nice breathiness to them, I can quite hear vocal nuances that are absent in the other synergies. Soundstage in this synergy is the crampiest of all of the synergies. The Yume have a more forward midrange compared to the KXXS, which are a step behind. This makes the Yume create better vocal clarity and resolution. The KXXS still have a decent amount of detail, just that they aren’t as potent as the Yume. I’m definitely not the first to report on the Yume’s subpar technicalities (at least in comparison to its outstanding tonality) so if anything I’m on the bandwagon. So if you’re someone expecting the Yume to be some A-tier or even S-tier contender for a stupid-low price, I preemptively apologise for shattering your hopes and dreams. After all, if it’s too good to be true…With an impedance of 32 Ω and a sensitivity of 106 dB/mW, the Yume are not hard to drive at all. In fact, this is about the optimal range in terms of sensitivity level. The Yume do not display hissing issues like some more sensitive IEMs, such as the Shanling ME80. The sub bass is deep and dynamic, you feel a good amount of reverb without being overwhelming enough to muddy the soundstage. As we all know there's no denying that internet flame wars have an intriguing and entertaining aspect to them. Feeding it with more power (Gain+ on Earmen Angel), more dynamics, mid range somehow comes forward a little, bass has better control (tighter)

This warranty extends only to personal use & does not extend to any product that has been used for commercial use, rental use, or use that is not intended. There are no warranties other than expressly set forth herein. Since many of Seeaudio's in-ear monitors (IEMs) have received high praise for their performance, the company has a large following among audiophiles. The Yume siblings—the original and the midnight edition—are two of the many IEMs they have released that I like. I've reviewed Yume Midnight before, but today I'll be talking about their latest release, Rinko, which is the result of a collaboration between the well-known YouTuber Zeos Pantera and SeeAudio. But let's go over a few things I want to make clear before continuing with the review.

Features:-

The render tips hifigo made for them are very comfy and besides the minor note of slight delamination between the foam and silicone that can happen which fixes itself when reinserted or smoothed out, i really love them. They are a good balance of pliable enough to be easy to shape but firm enough to seal well and are definitely softer then the symbio hybrid tips they mimic conceptually. The iems body casings are well shaped and fit my ears very well and the matte finish has made me not worry much about them. Z Review:- "The new Rinko tuning emphasizes a strong, tight low-end while also giving a generous boost to vocals via a modified mid-range response. This IEM is Aiming to sound like a much higher-end then its price tag and I think Rinko will no doubt compete and overtake most other IEMs in the range." Apex Legends: Gunshots and footsteps can actually be heard very clearly in terms of direction and distance. Included with the IEM is a standard-length 2-pin cable (3.5mm connect), a foil portrait of the anime girl on the box, a white clamshell case, and a set (S/M/L) of the custom Render Eartips.

Female vocals on the other hand, is very forward and energetic, but is slightly veiled and shouty to my liking. Ah the SeeAudio x Rinko, well I had to certainly “See” it to believe it and believe it I did, The box for a start is clearly the front and centre selling point for this IEM (We’ll get into this later)The cable provided is high-quality. If you are a cable believer, you’ll be pleased to know that this has a 5N OCC copper cable. Regardless, it is a soft, supple and good-looking cable. Design and Comfort From some angle, it looks more purple/blue to me. Though in this photo it looks greenish. The driver of Rinko didn’t look like conventional Planar Magnetic Driver that we see on, say, 7Hz Timeless or Tangzu Wu Zetian. The midrange presentation is undoubtedly recessed and tad leaner but still delivers a clean and expressive response on female vocals and instruments like strings and woodwinds.
