About this deal

The SEGA Mega Drive Control Pad is designed to be used with the SEGA Mega Drive – Nintendo Switch Online classic game library. Although it's possible that this controller can be used to navigate Nintendo Switch menus and even play other games, we cannot ensure that all in-game options and features will be supported.

YANDMAN lol. Sometimes I wonder how kids like you even find your way on the internet. Hopefully you can sit in time out after school. It’ll do you some good ☺️The fact that it has the shinobi trilogy on the go means I don't need a genesis mini classic now buddy! Dont worry if you’re just after solid gameplay; Gens is newbie friendly too and boasts menus that are easy to navigate. Gens is the last program in our list of the best Sega Mega Drive Emulators of the year. Yet again, we find ourselves looking at another epic program that is easy to work and a joy to use.

vio @BlueOcean Yep, I completely agree. It's a strange decision for sure. In fact, it's one of those weird decisions where you start to read into it and start wondering... is a Sonic 3 HD Remake on the way?! Ensure that the console is not placed behind a TV, under a metal object or within about a metre of other wireless devices, such as wireless speakers, cordless phones, etc. As I've been debating with some fellows in the forum, there are two missing games in Switch version (and still keeps delivering on "more than 50 games"), which are Wonder Boy in Monster World and Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair, compared to the same release on Xbox One and PS4. Where Mednafen falls down in comparison to RetroArch is that it’s a little bit ‘dodgy’ at times. The latest build has a few problems that, while a little annoying, can easily be rectified with a few adjustments if you have the time and will. I only want 5 games out of this whole list. I was little younger when these came out so I didn't play them. I only want to play the phantasy stars and shining force since i remember emulating those and playing them. The rest I'm good.

LordVal I went from NES to Mega Drive instead of SNES and never regretted it (well maybe apart from Street Fighter II). WOW WOW WOW ! The Sega collections are known for their approximativ emulation, with lag and other problems like shimmering or sound delays. It's far better than AT Games of course. But if there is progress (PS4/X1 collection is better than PS3/X360/PSP ones), it's still faaaaar from perfect. In the screenshot of the room, the shelves where all the games are being stored has a very noticeably empty bottom shelf... Do you think there's a chance that additional games could come into the collection at a later date? Or perhaps that was a plan originally, but it got pulled?

Atariboy The separate and combined versions were also included in Sonic Mega Collection two generations ago!Landstalker, the Phantasy Star and Shining games are hidden treats in this collection! I'm happy for anyone who gets to discover these gems for the first time!

Heavyarms55 I think Nintendo is content with selling you mini versions of past consoles and Switch Online to make a "best-of" game collection. It might also be more profitable for them this way, too.

A compatible smartphone or tablet and internet connection required to use the Nintendo Switch Online app. Data charges may apply. I have a feeling some of you were expecting RetroArch to appear in this list of the best Sega Mega Drive Emulators. It’s a regular feature in our emulation lists and a solid choice for pretty much every operating system. BlueOcean Yep, good point. I actually completely forgot that release from 10 years ago had Sonic 3 on it. Like RetroArch, Mednafen is capable of loading different cores for various consoles. It’s great for bkasting through Mega Drive titles such as ToeJam & Earl and Virtua Fighter, but it’s also a go to console for Sega Saturn users too. You can jump into the action whenever you have a few minutes – wherever you happen to be. Save your progress at any time! Rewind your game
