The sun hood won't pose a problem as it can be removed in one swift moment. How does it look? Travel and storage are made easy thanks to the Silver Cross Reflex. Storage is great with a shopping basket that is more than big enough for everyday essentials. We found you could hang a changing bag off the handles without the stroller tipping over – a basic requirement for any parent. There's also a bumper bar, which conveniently folds down with the pushchair. How easy is the umbrella fold? The Silver Cross Reflex is a high-end umbrella stroller with a high weight capacity. The stroller is named after the reflective elements on the wheels and the hood. Older versions of the Reflex featured LED lights on each side of the stroller, but these were removed later on due to frequent failures.
A number of extras are included on the Silver Cross Reflex, which goes some way to justifying the Reflex’s higher price. As well as the infant padding seat liner, there's a decent-sized UPF 50+ extendable hood, a shopping basket, and a rain cover. It also comes with car seat adaptors, moving the buggy more into travel system territory.
How does it look?
Reflex transforms into a complete travel system when used with a car seat. Simply remove the cushioned leatherette bumper bar, pop-in the car seat adaptors (sold separately) and attach your infant carrier straight to the frame. Reflex is compatible with the Silver Cross Simplicity Plus car seat and our ADAC award-winning Dream i-Size infant carrier. A newborn head-hugger is included for smaller babies and keeps them cocooned in upright or full lie-flat mode. The adjustable handles and one-motion fold make the Silver Cross Reflex the most comfortable stroller for parents too and the handy, built-in handle makes it practical and easy to carry when babies off exploring. This cannot be stressed enough, as it makes it the longest lasting buggy in the category, something our tester appreciated when she was able to use it for both her newborn and her 3.5-year-old toddler. The Reflex's infant set up, which is all included in the price, comes with a padded seat cover and head support for your new baby.
