The way he was portrayed, despite the curses of the birds, was never annoying or naive, but just so endearing, even endearing. the story was good but i felt like a carrot was being dangled in front of me the whole time from start of the book to about 95% mark. I kid you not ... the author just kept teasing us the whole book... Angelo "Vicious" Visconti. A beautiful monster with cheekbones as sharp as his tongue.
