I really enjoy Jo’s books. This is the third book I have read by the author and has been my favourite to date. It was everything I wanted in a story. What is clear from the story is that things never stay the same, as is evidenced by what became of Valentino's which was her family gelateria. Perhaps an unusual spot to find ice cream, but Morgan's Butchers sells a lovely range made by Meadow Cottage, a producer based in Churt who have their own herd of Jersey Cows. I didn’t take to Beca immediately and I wasn’t sure I was going to be able to invest in her story.
