overall i liked it a lot. there were definitely some parts missing, if that makes sense? it didn’t hit as hard as tsld for me. but i still had a good time. it was more fluffy and fun!! The characterization is perfect! The highest rate of chemistry pouring out from the chapters captivates you. i highly, highly recommend this book. i do. i’m not going to give a summary about the plot, simply because it honestly sounds boring lol!!! i went into this book totally blind and loved it!! so that’s what i recommend doing if you wanna read it hehe. i really wasn’t expecting to like this book. i read the spanish love deception a longgggg time ago and apparently gave it 5 stars, but i don’t remember much about it and i definitely feel like i enjoyed this book wayyyyy more than that one🤭Without really knowing how, I realized I was now clutching the handle of the entrance door. these characters are lovable from the start. this spin on acquaintances to friends to lovers was done so passionately that it made my heart cry tears of joy. the longing, the aching, the undeniable chemistry Rosie and Lucas have for one another had me clutching my chest the entire way through.you're lying. you're crying and it's breaking my heart," he said in a desperate voice.
