As in the other novels there is some great humor and I can’t help but love this group of characters, including the new additions. A new foe they call "Viking", wants Elizabeth to kill former KGB chief Viktor, or he will kill her sweet best friend Joyce. Activist marked for death Ron and psychiatrist Ibrahim chase clues for Viking's identity, and investigate mob-queen prisoner from last book. A cold case involving a missing journalist, garners the attention of the Murder Club this time around, while Elizabeth gets tangled up in her own side drama. In this adventure, she gets to meet celebrities, about which she is over the moon. The group is looking into the death of an attractive TV co-host ten years ago, when her car was found at the bottom of a cliff near Dover. The show is still running with the same main host, so Elizabeth and Joyce decide to attend as guests and sit in the front row. Trouble is never far for the Thursday Murder Club and fans of this hit book series from Richard Osman, just can't wait to see what they are up to in their adventure!

In this installment, our four pensioners are at it again, trying to solve a decade-old murder that never quite made sense. For one, where is the body? And since the victim was chasing down a money-laundering scheme right before her death, what happened to all of that money? I think that I will re-read this book before the next instalment, just to see if I will feel different.
