I'm looking forward to learn more about the boy-with-no-flavor and all of the mystery that surrounds him and maybe also "The Artifact?"

The girl is obsessed. She spends her days reading comics about alien invasions, doodling UFOs, watching B-movies about Earth being invaded by creatures from Mars… and gazing at the stars through her old, battered telescope. When a flying saucer crash lands in the corn field, behind the farm where she lives with her evil Aunt, Ruth finds herself launched into a thrilling adventure and a friendship that will span the universe. When the spaceship opens up it reveals a mysterious alien and all Ruth's dreams come true but does this visitor from another planet have a giant secret? I can see why David Walliams is so popular. His fun and humourous story was a joy to read. There is a silliness to it but also a depth as both Ruth and Spaceboy have a parent-guardian who abuses them verbally on a daily bases.
