About this deal
The reason these books are so good besides the crazy good romance, are the external relationships! -The girls! Naomi, Sloane and Lina steal the show with their friendship, I laughed so hard with them and all of their many antics throughout the book. (boozy girls time, Halloween) Honestly, I can see how this book isn’t for everyone. It’s looooong and slow in some parts and both main characters are a bit annoying at times. She hopes to someday write from a sailboat, oceanfront condo, or tropical island with reliable Wi-Fi.

Too bad Lina’s got secrets of her own, and if Nash finds out the real reason she’s in town, he’ll never forgive her. Besides, she doesn’t do relationships. Ever. What’s the point of having a chief of police as the main character if you’re not at least gonna make him use his cuffs. What a waste!the first spooning scene 😅. I don't know how it all happened, how A got to B, but... I🔥WAS🔥HERE🔥FOR🔥IT!!!! It helped relieve some of the... um... tension I was feeling because of this slow burn 😉 Something in this book that I liked is that our heroine Lina has a pixie haircut. I know that probably seems random, but sometimes I get so tired of a stereotypical heroine with big doe eyes and pouty lips. I think that's also why I thought Falling Hard for the Royal Guard was cute!
