In use we found the TomTom Go 6000 performed very well - with a good choice of routes and accurate journey times, thanks in no small part to the TomTom Traffic data. Entering destination information was intuitive, with plenty of scope for finding places either by entering postcodes, towns and street name or by interacting directly with the responsive maps. Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again. Make sure the charging light on your device is on.

We have a new portal just for retail partners. The portal offers straight forward support, specifically catered to retailers. Fast, easy solutions, with no need to log in. Report a new speed camera location, on the go, with just one press on the screen. Just tap the speed camera icon next to the speedometer at the bottom of your screen to report! Software update that enables users to easily renew a lapsed service subscription directly on the device. Stay away from it!!!!! This is probably the worst GPS ever created. If you rely on GPS alone and are not vigilant, you will most likely get into an accident. Several times, that GPS took me to low bridge areas. Moreover, it took me to rivers, dead-ends and bridges as my destinations. The posted speed limit is not accurate a lot of times. Thank God it shut off completely after three (3) months of usage. If there were penal laws for bad GPS, this one would probably be on death row. Lol. Just kidding a bit!!!!

Joining up with saved routes : When you select a route in My Routes, you can choose between driving to the starting point or to the point closest to your current location. The TomTom Go 6000 isn't the first large-screen sat nav we've seen, but we can't overstate the difference that having such a large device makes to your driving experience. A large screen sat nav basically changes the way you drive. It frees you from relying exclusively on the limited information you get from the directions delivered by voice, and means you can correctly predict what is coming up so much better.

Both the remaining distance and remaining time is now shown in the route comparison panel if the setting is 'both'. This applies to: Via LIVE 120/125, Via LIVE 120/125, Via LIVE 130/135, GO LIVE 820/825, GO LIVE 1000/1005/1005 World(This update is only available for LIVE devices) This covers you for real-time updates on slow moving traffic and roadworks on your route, via the TomTom Traffic system. You get three month's worth of Speed Camera data as well, although having to pay extra each year to keep the camera data up to date does seem a bit cheeky. Advance lane guidance now comes in split screen to give you extra clarity when navigating difficult junctions. This shows exactly which lane to take, so you won't miss your turn!A big disappointment. Fuel stops are all car related. Not easy. No better than a basic car gps.i am a reasonably experienced driver so know most of my routes.
