After it was all assembled the first thing that I did was plug it in. Yeah you heard me right we plugged in a griddle.

The procedure to do this was simple. Just hold the calibration tank button down for three seconds, and once the light starts sweeping from right to left place the tank on the hook underneath the griddle. It’ll take about 15 seconds to figure it out, but once it’s done it’s going to beep, and the LEDs are going to start flashing. Unlike other Traeger options, this is not for smoking a big cut of meat. But it is effectively a blank canvas for most outdoor cooking. And its size means you can manage a meal to feed at least four people. (Photo/Traeger)Everything about firing up the grill — from the sound of lifting that crinkly paper charcoal bag, to making the briquette pyramid and inwardly wondering just how much lighter fluid is too much — is an explosion of sensory nostalgia. And the flavor, well that’s just the cherry tomato on the kabob. (Photo/Kendra Smith)

And of course, I really appreciate the propane fuel indicator lights. It’s a vast improvement over the lift-and-jiggle method I would otherwise apply to the tank. An orange indicator shows when you have ignition; (photo/Traeger) Having a grill with three distinct heating zones is a game-changer. These divided cooking areas allow you to simultaneously prepare different foods, ensuring optimal heat levels for various ingredients. With this innovative feature, you can efficiently multitask while grilling or frying, making your cooking process more seamless and enjoyable.Remove griddled bacon. Once the bacon is done, place onto a paper towel if desired to soak up excess dripping. In terms of cost, Traeger BBQ rubs are priced competitively with other high-quality rubs on the market. While they’re not the cheapest option, many people find that the quality and flavour of Traeger rubs make them well worth the investment. Additionally, because the rubs are so flavorful, you may find that you can use less seasoning overall, which can help to stretch your budget. Three years later, in 1988, after perfecting the Traeger Grill design, the first commercial grill was sold.
