It has a premium feel to it that screams “well-made”, and the design is attractive and modern. It remains a simple device to use, but the small changes add up to deliver an even better experience than its predecessors.

I received the Sky Blue and Rose Pink colors for this review and both are awesome. The paint is a matte-metallic that really suits the design of the device. The paint is also high-quality and holds up well through day-to-day use. I haven’t been particularly gentle with it (even dropping it a few times) and it’s still looking good. Using the XROS 3 is very straightforward. It is a button and draw-activated device, and the only adjustable feature is the airflow.This could happen for a number of reasons. It could be the ejuice, or it could be that you received a dud coil. It could also come down to vaping habits; if you didn’t let the coil soak for long enough before starting to vape, or if you vaped with the tank too low on ejuice. Two brand new pods (0.6ohm and 1ohm) are included to accommodate either style of vaping. It’s stated that they’re compatible with salt nicotine (MTL pod) or freebase e-liquid (RDL pod). The sequel isn’t always necessarily better. We learned this with classic films. However, the XROS 2 is better than the original. Not by much, but VAPORESSO definitely tied up those loose ends. I think it was a smart choice to go with the same pods, which they perfected on the XROS. The new one just feels more like a finished product, whereas the original felt a bit expeditious.

The MTL vape was not quite as restricted as I’d like because it pulled on the cheeks a little. I was also losing some vapour pre vape. That’s always the sign I look for. The XROS 3 is released alongside its baby sibling the XROS 3 Mini. Both devices are pretty much the same on specs but the XROS 3 Mini comes in around 15mm shorter. The XROS 3 retains all of the features that made the original XROS and XROS 2 so great. It uses VAPORESSO’s latest AXON chipset for consistent performance and also features ‘Pulse Mode’, a mode first seen on their GEN line of vape mods. I've been using this vape now for quite a few days now after switching from my Innokin Endura coil vape, and I have to say, I absolutely love it. A few tweaks have been made over its predecessor, the XROS 2. The four step LED has been ditched in favour of a glowing neon indicator.
