Point Horror for a new generation . . . best read under the covers in one sitting.' Kathryn Foxfield, author of Good Girls Die First. 'A supernatural terror-fest! Murphy takes you on a terrifying murder spree across London, relentlessly building the tension to a blood-curdling climax. I absolutely devoured it!' Kat Ellis, author of Harrow Lake. I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys crime and thriller books and people who like horror and books with a creepy, supernatural twist. I would rate it 5 stars because it had a great plot and I really enjoyed reading it. And then, Cole was ALWAYS the one that was there - he found Frank, he found Kat, he had ample opportunity to get to Taylor and he was there that night with Jameela.

What the hell. This book was INSANE. That plottwist was something I definitely thought of a few times but then I thought to myself “the author wouldn’t do that would they?” and boy was I WRONG. Adolescent criminals seek the haul of a lifetime in a fantasyland at the beginning of its industrial age. Also can someone explain to me how they figured out Liz was it all along, because it totally hit me by surprise and I did not see any clues that it was her doing before the big reveal, maybe I was just oblivious, or not Idk but I'm curious what gave it away All in all, this is one book I would highly recommend. Holy CRAP this was just so awesome and I flew right through it. I definitely have to get Cynthia Murphy’s other book soon!

Switching from the murderer’s POV directly to the POV of Liz had me guessing, but when Miss Liz started to hint at a bit of PTSD, I knew it. And seriously, if you get wounded by a rusty nail or something…. at least go to the doctors. I get that you are hard at work and you need to do all sorts of things, but this is important. It just didn’t make sense and I was just rolling my eyes. This was a nice book. I'm pretty sure if I read it when I was 12 or around that age I would have loved this book to bits. However some parts of the book was a bit too iffy for me.There are so many suspects - the enigmatic Headmistress, Dr Patel, and the odd groundskeeper, Creepy Billy, with his love of unusual, sometimes poisonous plants, and handsome new boy, Cole, who becomes Liz's boyfriend, that the reader is constantly kept guessing. The story concludes with a very clever twist, which I doubt few readers will see coming. All in all, a highly recommended thriller which will be a huge hit with teenage readers.

So, Cole was my guy. There’s NO WAY that someone can be this much of a nice person and not be sus. I flat out thought that was going to be the premise of this was that Liz was going to be like “Oh nO - *betrayal*”. Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical MomentsHowever, very thrilling book with many lurid activities ... I was really into the story, but didn't like the ending because, well, first of all I was wrong about who the villain was and second I don't like who the villain really is haha! An explosive new YA thriller, from the author of Last One To Die.The students at Morton Academy are high-achievers, selected based on academic excellence. So when a series of murders target the school's brightest and best, the pressure is on. I loved reading about this school though, just like in Truly Devious this is a special school for special kids. They all have something they are amazing at and can hone and sharpen those skills. We have a few math wizards, some people who are great at art. It was really fun! Plus, that food served at the canteen (and then especially the weekends) sounded awesome. Thirdly, the actual plot was shaky. Why is Elizabeth doing all of these just because of the role of headgirl. Is it just me but I don't see that as a good enough reason to go around murdering a bunch of people.
