About this deal

I have been looking for a really good X52 profile for F-14B and I never see one so I have this one I know you will enjoy! The X52 uses one spring to center, pressed against a plastic disc that is sliding on a plastic ridge (with a little bit of silicon grease in between). The LCD screen on the throttle is cool, but not very usable. At least I have not found much of a use for it other than to display the time.

X52 Pro Flight System - Fully Integrated Stick and Throttle

I only got this 2 weeks ago and since then I have had to reinstalled the software 2 times to get the programming to work. X52Pro profiles aren't fully compatible with X52, but the mapping proposed gave me good ideas about multiple command binding The unit looks impressive, one of their nicer-appearing units - however the "custom lighting" is one color for everything and if it's out of a palette of 16 million colors then I'm an alien. For the price, it should have had independent lighting on every switch, button and knob. Smooth, and precise control, feels like you got your money's worth. Lots, and lots of customization with the software. Lots of buttons and hats to keep me keyboard-free in Elite. No problem, glad it can help. Not sure if you can open the profile or not, here is a run down of what is in there just in case, anything not set in the below is set within the game binds file. Mode Switch has been cleared of its functionality and is only used to select "DOGFIGHT / CENTER / MISSILE OVERRIDE" mode.

In addition to the standard Aileron, Elevator, Rudder and Throttle controls, you also have three additional axes to use on the throttle controller: two silver ridged rotary wheels, and the precision slide. These are positioned conveniently so that your thumb and index finger can operate them. These controls have no set function, but they can be assigned in your Flight Sim to additional axes such as Elevator Trim or Flaps. Soooo many buttons, each switch on the base of the throttle is a toggle; essentially doubling the amount of switches that you have Excellent, got my x52 pro yesterday and have it setup on the default ingame bindings wuth a few tweaks and additions on the KBNot happy at all with the direction computers are heading. And it isn't just Windows doing this stupid crap. Same kind of things happening on Macs as well. This feels like a real piece of equipment and not a toy. I am very impressed with the design and quality of the materials used.

Throttle clutch button = I leave it blank to associate with the application to communicate with other players.

There is no need to set up a dead zone on my twist yaw. It centers and actually allows for some damn fine subtle control. I'm sure those experiencing the problem are legit, but its definitely not a design flaw in every unit. Great work! You don't happen to have the PDFs for the X-55, too? I've been using jgm's Saitek X-55 Bindings Reference Sheet generator. It is really great and all, but produces JPEGs and no PDFs. Basically, all of the wires connecting the throttle buttons are loose inside there. Keep moving it for a while and eventually one of them will become brittle and short. If you are willing to take the time, it is very customizable and gives you lots of options. Despite what I had read, it had a decent weight and I find it actually works better without the suction cups attached to the bottom. Wolf wrote:Great work!
