Can you imagine?what i mean by acts of service was; him giving lottie his best car so she can travel between the houses of her family easily, sending the pictures of jeff’s (lottie’s step father) garden to garden committee so they can win the best garden prize, sending flowers to lottie’s mom to congratulate her, arranging his whole work schedule so kelsey (lottie’s sister) can present her business to him.. he cares about lottie, and lottie cares about those people, so he made his business to keep them all happy. he also sent meals and desserts for the families of the workers who has been wounded in one of his buildings; he is incredibly kind and thoughtful. he even remembered that one of lottie's wishes was to lay in rain, so the second it rained he took her to roof and laid down in rain with her. he even took her to her favorite artist’s concert, how can you not love him when all he does is showing he cares about her?
