About this deal

Select the input connector on the audio device. Channel numbers and audio formats that are supported vary depending on the connector in use. Note: supported since 3.50 and not available on SDTV (480i/P & 576i/P) resolutions / output connectors. The PlayStation 2 can do VGA through this port, however it is software controlled, and since there aren't enough pins for H+V Sync, it uses Sync-On-Green, which not all monitors support. Note: You must add a 220 uF capacitor in each of the RGB lines (+ towards console) to get an acceptable picture. If you don't, the picture will be too dark and you won't like it!! If you change the audio output settings, the system will no longer be able to output audio from multiple output connectors at the same time. For example, if your system is connected to a TV via an HDMI cable and to an audio device via a digital optical cable and you switch to [Optical Digital] under [Audio Output Settings], audio will no longer be output from the TV. To output audio from the TV, switch the setting to [HDMI], or select (Settings) > (Sound Settings) > [Audio Multi-Output] and set the option to [On].

All SNES units are compatible with the SyncBaby without modification; with exception to the SNES Mini/Jr units, which were some of the last SNES units produced and were a smaller than normal form factor (they were more rounded, and not boxy looking). These specific models will require modification to properly use this device, as they do not natively support RGB output. See the photo below for a comparison. Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-T (IEEE 802.3ab) 8P8C connector following TIA/EIA-568 wiring standards with support for Auto MDI-X, which means Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables can be used without the need for special crosscables. For reference, here's the pinout I use to connect all my systems to my monitors. A single common pinout means I don't need a seperate monitor cable for each system. Proprietary audio/video connector used by Sony on many devices, e.g. Sony TVs, Sony consoles Playstation 1/Psone, Playstation 2/PStwo, PlayStation X/PSX, Playstation 3/PS3.

Connect the output from this device to a video upscaler which can scale to 480p (or higher) which can support very large majority of modern equipment. Connect the other end of the video cable to your TV. Make note of the input that you are connecting to, as this will allow you to find the correct input when you turn on your TV. Match the colors of the plugs with the colors on the inputs. [3] X Research source

Adjust the system's audio output settings. These settings are mainly used when the system is connected to audio devices that support digital audio output, such as AV amplifiers (receivers) for home entertainment systems.Settings vary depending on supported formats. For details, refer to the instructions supplied with the audio device. The audio connection (Red and White) may be offset from the video inputs on the TV. If your TV only supports mono sound, just use the White audio plug. SyncBaby is a compact and efficient SNES AV Multi-out to VGA D-Sub (with 3.5mm audio-ouput) for your Super Nintendo to output 15Khz (240p) RGB. Once the cables are inserted and the Wii console is powered on, switch your TV to the channel you use to watch movies. Put in a video tape and play the movie. When you see the movie playing, press stop (do not power off the VCR) and proceed to the next step. When using an HDMI cable, only [Linear PCM 2 Ch.] audio will be output from PlayStation®2 and PlayStation® format software. To output Dolby Digital or DTS® audio, you must connect the PS3™ system and the audio device using a digital optical cable and switch to [Optical Digital] under [Audio Output Settings].
