Alright, so I’ve got mixed feelings about this book. I read Slott’s run right after reading Byrne’s and I can tell you that Byrne’s run is way superior and way better. There was some references to Byrne’s run though, they refer the fourth wall breaking (which I was very sad to see was not present) and they use comic books to find info on their clients. Slott gave the team the Great Lakes Avengers their first ever solo miniseries in GLA: Misassembled, which featured a character being killed in each issue. He made the first roster changes to the team since its inception by creating a new character, Grasshopper, and reviving an obscure one, Squirrel Girl. During this period, Slott signed an exclusive contract with Marvel. He has since returned to the GLA twice, first with the 2005 GLX-Mas Special, following a name change to the Great Lakes X-Men, and then again in the 2007 Deadpool/GLI Summer Fun Spectacular with co-writer Fabian Nicieza, to coincide with Marvel's Civil War: The Initiative branding. After Last Defenders: Fantastic Four (1961) #554, 558, 560-562, Avengers/Invaders (2008) #12, Hulk (2008) #1-2 & King-Sized Hulk #1, Hulk (2008) #3 & 5-9

After #23: Uncanny X-Men (1963) #272 (cameo), Namor, The Sub-Mariner (1990) Annual 1 (4th story), Incredible Hulk (1968) Annual 16 (2nd story), Avengers (1963) #326-328 A very prestigious law firm promptly hires her but under the strict condition that she be only Jennifer when working. The law firm had a new superhuman law branch and Jen is going to work there. But I can’t fight with the universe, it’s cruel and capricious, and doesn’t bend to my will (it would be a lot cooler if it did, though). So I sit here, miserable, and think that it might finally be time to review that She-Hulk graphic novel I read a week or so ago. After #4: Uncanny X-Men (1963) #442, Captain America: Theatre of War – America The Beautiful (2009) #1, Avengers (1998) #78-79 & 81-84, Invaders (2004) #0 For a more modern take on She-Hulk, start from Dan Slott’s She-Hulk (2004) #1. This gives you a written-for-trade era set of story arcs, and plenty of material to ready – since this continues to a second series for 38 more issues! Af ter #288: Incredible Hulk (1968) #316, New Mutants (1983) #37, Secret Wars II (1985) #9, Avengers (1963) #266

Hanks, Henry (December 31, 2012). "Events in landmark Spider-Man issue have fans in a frenzy". CNN. Archived from the original on June 4, 2013 . Retrieved February 16, 2013. Note that Avengers Disassembled occurs between #10-11 of this series, which introduces a significant status quo change for Jen. It is listed below.Chaos War: See Guide to Marvel Universe Events – Chaos War. She-Hulk appears in Chaos War: Dead Avengers (2011) #1 Suddenly, we were building all these different suits and all these different gadgets and different kinds of webbings, and it’s interesting for me to see how that’s been done in other places. You play a PS4 Spider-Man video game, and those special webs he’s using, those come from the comics. You get all these different suits and those come from the comics, and everything becomes part of the mythos. Or, you have him build the suit in Stark’s jet in Far From Home, or using the equipment in Happy’s apartment in No Way Home, and so much of that comes from the comics. It’s weird. Or the fact that you have a Spider-Man who keeps hopping into other dimensions. So suddenly I’m the science and dimension hopping guy.

Secret Wars: See Marvel Universe Events. She-Hulk does not feature prominently in the main Secret Wars series, but she is a featured player in several of the tie-in series – none of which are in her regular character continuity. She-Hulk appears in the following out-of-continuity titles: A-Force (2015) #1-5, Deadpool’s Secret Secret Wars (2015) #1-4 (set during the original Secret Wars), Secret Wars (2015) #1, Civil War (2015) #1-5, Ultimate End (2015) #4-5She-Hulk only makes one other in-canon appearance in this era – in Marvel Team-Up (1972) #107 after issue #18. She also appears in an editorial feature in Amazing Spider-Man (1963) Annual 15, but there is no story attached. She ends up joining the biggest, most prestigious law firm in the U.S. and is one of the lead lawyers in their superhuman law department. She ends up taking cases that can only come up in a world filled with gods, heroes, aliens, and ghosts all living side by side with average ‘ol humans. In Lee’s last act of Marvel Comics creation until the 1990s, he dashed off the first issue of The Savage She-Hulk. It’s a classic Lee contrivance. Bruce Banner’s mild-mannered lawyer cousin Jennifer Walters is nearly killed by a gang seeking revenge, and Banner is the only one that can provide a blood transfusion in time to save her life. With the blood comes the green alter ego – and a second Hulk in the Marvel Universe! Jen stars in Fantastic Four (1961) 265-268, Annual 18, 269-284, Annual 19, & 285-293. Then, after Byrne departs, she finishes her run on the title in issues #295-298, Mephisto vs. … (1987) #1 – The Fantastic Four, & 299-300. See Guide to Fantastic Four for collection info for this era. Axis: See Guide to Marvel Universe Events – Axis. She-Hulk plays a supporting role in issues #2 and #5 of Axis and appears in Captain America & The Mighty Avengers (2014) #2-3 (she is a member).

Dan Slott - Wikipedia

USASSR: Captain American and a Russian super soldier are roommates in the 1980s. How will they ever get along!? This feeling that Jen’s being objectified throughout the book isn’t helped by the art in a lot of it. Juan Bobillo does a pretty good job not falling into this trap, and deserves some praise for his art on this book. But the decent work he puts in is immediately devalued when Paul Pelletier comes in, either as a fill-in or as the replacement artist, because everything he draws makes the whole book feel like a cheesecake comic. Slott wrote the story for the Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions video game which was released in September 2010. [9]

Galactic Storm: See Guide to The Avengers (1963). This occurs between issues #37-38. She-Hulk is part of the “Earth Force” in this event, so doesn’t get as much panel time as her space-faring peers. She appears in Avengers (1963) #345, Avengers West Coast (1989) #81, Captain America (1968) #400 (2nd story) and 401. The story arcs that follow are about Jenn representing superheroes in cases where they cause collateral damage, suffer from slander, or get caught up playing jury to time-travel self-defense cases. One story arc takes She-Hulk to outer space for she can be an intergalactic judge for the Living Tribunal. Truly, only one story arc isn’t about Jenn being a cool lawyer. After a few months break (if you’ve read Avengers Disassembled you’ll appreciate why), She-Hulk returned for an impressive four-year run in her second longest-running series – first written by Dan Slott, then by Peter David. [ Marvel Unlimited] The story- She-Hulk is bit a party animal. As in- Sleeping with a new guy every week, and having a party almost every day. And, the Avengers have had enough. There is the case with Southpaw and how her boss is connected here and that was the big story or rather longer one and seems like it will continue and sort of informs her boss motivations to bring She -hulk into the firm.
