Despite their superficial resemblance, the Draconimorpha are not particularly closely related to any other clade of modern reptiles. They are in fact, members of the Parareptilia, a subclass of Reptilia which also includes the now extinct Pareiasaurs among others, and are quite distinct from the more familiar Eureptilia, which includes the lepidosaurs (tuataras, lizards & snakes), archosaurs (crocodiles & birds) and the testudines (turtles and tortoises). There are sealed envelopes which you can open to find letters from the author or even magical spells. There are "samples" of dragon scales and wings...This book really brings them to life. For true believers only, a lavishly illustrated reproduction of a legendary volume by the world’s most distinguished dragonologist. Don’t let it fall into the wrong hands! A handsome, dryly tongue-in-cheek volume. . . . All in all, a delightful treatment for readers fascinated by dragons. Drake's Comprehensive Compendium of Dragonology (review)". The information disclosed in The Greatest Discovery, assists in bringing together a much bigger picture of humanity’s origins, which is vastly different to what we are taught by mainstream education, but the knowledge of which is essential to grasp, if one is to know our true history, and who we really are as the human race, where we came from and how we got here. While the vast majority of the Parareptiles died out during the Great Dying (aka the Permian-Triassic mass extinction) 252 million years ago, the draconimorpha endured. This is an amazing book. I discovered it in the book section of K-Mart, of all places. I couldn't buy it just then, but I remembered the title and put it on my wish-list. This was one of many books I asked for last Christmas and my mom got it for me. Books like this are really great in an age when fewer and fewer people are reading books. Even my husband, who hates to read was interested in this book.
