En was adorable! So full of life and emotion, despite struggling a bit with not being human anymore. I can see why all the older vampires would like him. You can't help but be charmed by him, and he's not even trying. iii) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled and information reasonably sufficient to permit the service provider to locate the material; They set up 3 different types of vampire relationships in this world. The vampire couple that’s happy, but really worried about infidelity. Apparently you can scent the blood someone drinks. The vampire that mated with a human - his story is interesting. He was married and then got injured while near another vampire and he was turned to save his life. His wife is human, he has a human (older looking) child. The vampire that lost his husband and wants to die. His story was so sad and there’s some scenes about his suicidal ideation.

The art is beautiful! And everyone is sexy. I also liked the chibi kinda art scattered throughout because it brought out more fun and personality. (Maybe that's typical in manga. I believe this is technically the first real manga I've read, though I read plenty of other graphic novels, webcomics, etc.) Also, I saw someone mention how nicely drawn all the hands are, and they were right, these are some perfect hands!

I loved this graphic novel with its beautiful art, sexy vampires, unique characters, touching and interesting relationships, exploration of vampirism, and sweet blossoming romance! The story was weak for me. This volume felt like a prologue to a bigger story with little establishing action beyond En getting turned and him declaring his partnership with Ichii. Balibally teases their audience with Ichii's mysterious past and a secret he's keeping, but the pull isn't strong enough when the volume centers around meeting side characters, how En reacts to them, and two sex scenes. En's framing also made me uncomfortable at times. I understand age gaps have existed in vampiric love stories before, but the constant reinforcing of En as a "virgin" and a "baby" feels like infantilization and reminds me of fanservice media I've seen/been exposed to with women getting the same treatment. I'm getting past the point where characters are framed as desirable because of their youth. I think supernatural romances deserve more than that.

I loved good guy Ichii! For some reason, I thought Ichii would kinda be a jerk, but he was actually really sweet, trying his best to be a good guardian to En, and a good friend to Sugi. There was also something about how vampires who work for the Fangs organization (Ichii being one of them) are pretty much volunteers. Other characters we meet through Ichii's blood delivery job include a gay vampire couple consisting of an overprotective plastic surgeon and his flirtatious spouse,a loving vampire/human couple whose love has stood the test of time with both the human wife and the couple's child reaching old age still cherished preciously by the devoted vampire husband/father, and a grieving vampire widower with a giant pet tortoise who hasn't been able to move on from the loss of his husbandwhotragically fell asleep outside watching the stars one night and vanished with the rising sun. The characters all feel like unique entities rather than a generic cookie-cutter vampire cast. They own businesses, keep exotic pets, go skateboarding, get married, and do all the other things ordinary people do depending on their tastes, just with the occasional biological restrictions placed on them due to their vampirism. They feel very "human" in some ways and their diverse tastes and personalities make them fun to get to know. In addition to wanting to see more of the main couple, I want more of these guys, too. One thing I did enjoy was Balibally's art. I like their scenery and how they gave their characters distinctive traits. They're able to build sexual tension effectively, and some of the comedic elements worked in their favor (Darwin's introduction). I also emphasize with En figuring out his place as a newly christened vampire, being as "young" as he is and getting to meet fellow peers and see how they deal with the transition. I didn't understand vampiric plastic surgery when Masaki explained it, but that's relatively minor given how much Balibally went over. To be fair, the elements that felt reminiscent of True Blood aren’t necessarily elements that are exclusive to that series. It’s just a lot of elements from vampire stories in a BL manga. They might be somewhere in your city. Guys with piercings and slightly pronounced canines, wearing sneakers. They might be sitting right-next to you at a café in the middle of the night.

Our somewhat innocent protagonist, En, is new to the vampire gig. As a human, he was a homeless teenager in the process of figuring himself and his life out, and now as a vampire he must do the same on top of adjusting to the loss of his humanity and trying to navigate the vampire world. Clueless of the rules, the culture, and of what all being a vampire entails, right now En is entirely dependant on the deuteragonist, Ichii, to show him the way. And the two have some interesting chemistry both romantically and as a world-weary mentor who contrasts En's inexperience. The older vampire is competent and responsible when it comes to his work (including his task of being En's guardian) but Ichii has been around a long time and is not shy about what he wants - and what he wants is En. His teenage charge is a breath of fresh air in his long, dreary life and makes him want to laugh and tease and FEEL things. And he does just that. Heshamelessly tells the younger vampire: "I've decided to kiss you once every conversation. And grab your ass." His lighthearted moments with En are great; watching this couple is no doubt going to be a continued source of amusement as the series progresses.Currently incapable of coherent thoughts. Logical and critical thinking whomST? I don't know them 😡🤚🏼🙅🏻‍♀️👎🏼 There are some explicit steamy scenes. Trigger warning for the first being maybe kinda dubcon (En kept telling him to wait, slow down, etc. but Ichii didn't, and then En liked it).

I really enjoyed this first volume and am interested in seeing where it goes from here, particularly with the intrigue of the last chapter and what En and Ichii's role in FANGS will end up being. The artwork was well done, the story was easy to follow, and while it has familiar elements of supernatural mature romances, I liked the intrigue of following the different characters here. I loved how much this explored different aspects of vampirism and the different ways it can affect people. Cheating. Loneliness. Depression. Lovers and children growing old. That sort of thing. There are so many things I loved that it's all just ping-ponging around my head with no hope of real organization, so here's a list! We got to really meet six different vampires in this volume, and each was unique and different. I really got a sense of personality for every character. They all felt believable and somehow even felt older, like their actual ages, despite looking young. En and Ichii's relationship also could have been developed more. The latter chooses to be the former's guardian right off the bat, but the romantic framing isn't strong enough to want to root for them. I also didn't like Ichii taking advantage of En at several moments throughout this volume. Balibally's established dynamic is currently the driving force of these two being together, rather than their growing feelings for each other. They can grow as a couple. However, their first time threw me off because it's related to what I discussed earlier and in a status update. This said, I found this on tapas and was immediately intrigued. I mean a relationship between a vampire and a werewolf? It sounded interesting and I decided to investigate. I loved the different relationship the vampires had with each other, with their families, etc. I don't want to ruin the fun of letting you learn as you read, but there were all different kinds of love and romance and friendship and family, either already established or just blossoming.
