The GMMK Pro offers fully customisable RGB lighting with over 16.8 million RGB colours plus multiple modes and animations. With its signature side lighting panels, this keyboard will shine with the multiple effects it has available, making for elegant and immersive gaming sessions. The core concept of the GMMK Pro range is customisation, and this pre-built keyboard is no different. Equipped with the same hot-swapping technology, you can configure the keycaps and switches, which are easily removable with the included tools. This is enabled by the gasket-mounted, 5-pin PCB. As a result, you can mix and match switches to suit your gaming style or replace the GPBT keycaps with a colour scheme reflecting your chosen aesthetic. If you can afford it, however, you’ll be pleased to know that Glorious ships to the UK and Australia. The only thing that stops this being a perfect first time modular board is the fact that they may have well put the stabilisers in with PVA glue. I’m guessing most people in the hobby don’t mind taking electronics apart to remove the stabilisers and lube them properly, but if you think you can buy this board, plug some switches in and add some key caps you are mistaken. Overall I'm really pleased with it, and consider it worth the money if you want something that you're going to use heavily.

While this is my first time building a keyboard from scratch, I have been modding my own keebs since 2022.
Stabilizer flaw is anything but glorious.
As a barebones kit, the GMMK Pro’s typing experience is heavily dependent on the switches and keycaps you use. I appreciated the 75% layout, but found that the stabilizers leave much to be desired and the gasket mount is a mixed bag. Disappointingly for gasket fans, there really isn’t any flex. There’s also no need to worry about latency here as it’s a wired keyboard – something that many gamers prefer over wireless options. Glorious GMMK Pro: Price & availability Usually with barebones kits, we receive plate-mounted stabilizers, but not in this instance, because with the GMMK Pro, we get their screw-in stabilizers, or as Glorious calls them the GOAT (Greatest of all Time) Stabilizers.
