there were some grammar/spelling mistakes. If the mistakes are minor, I tend to overlook them, but there were a couple that had he rereading lines to figure out what was supposed to be there šŸ˜¬ This book genuinely wouldā€™ve been three stars if it werenā€™t for the side characters icl. They gobbled all my attention and left scraps for the main couple. I just loved the friendship groups and each ship in the making shkshdjdj im so excited to read the rest of the series šŸ¤øšŸ»ā€ā™€ļø but YOU asher out of all people know that your own son is different, you should've nurtured killian, gotten him help sooner, and made him feel your love and support. so what Killian has psychopathic traits? it is up to you to step up and be a father, how was it that reina was able to connect with killian and not judge him, yet you make your own son an outcast? Sometimes, I want to stop hiding from everyone, myself included. Oftentimes, however, it gets too hard and itā€™s impossible to breathe properly. It's not the first time that I've noticed that RK makes her characters assume opulently a robe of exalted passions and exceptional emotions for the sake of drama and angst. I'd be more annoyed if it weren't so unintentionally funny. That's why, having clowned her wannabe poetry from the top to the bottom, I digress.

Legacy of Gods Series by Rina Kent - Goodreads

it feels like only yesterday ava was just born and eli was telling his daddy how pretty she is šŸ˜ remember when jeremy was still 5 years old and begging for lia to sleep with him in his little bed because he was scared she would leave againšŸ’” and remember when landon my son, beat the snot out of brandon like a true sibling/champion šŸ„ŗ So... my previous review was extremely ugly, and I didn't even write immediately when I read this book because I was confused AF about whether I liked it or not, and I was mostly out of my mind too! Moreover, after reading Iqra's review, I felt provoked to write one as well! šŸ¤ŒšŸ» c) throwing my body down the cliff and using my dead body to create a masterpiece then āœØ i donā€™t want it āœØ. Killian really reinvented 'her body her choice' and we love him for it. šŸ¤” Jeremy and Cecily's book is my favorite! Why? BECAUSE THERE IS GROVELING, and if you're going to show the main male character messing up, at least make him realize his mistakes, which usually doesn't happen!

From the first chapter we get the words psychopath and sociopath thrown around and you know the characters are going to be either extra self-aware or just... caricatures of what a psychopath is supposed to be. In the comic strip Kaleb Daark's mission allied him temporarily with the forces of Law. He fights at the siege of Praag and confronts the followers of the Chaos God Khorne, and also finds himself at odds with the Skaven. Honestly, I'm not going to say a single thing about what happens in this book because you just have to go in blind. I LOVE RK's work and I ALWAYS have high expectations going into her books, let me tell ya, I've been BLOWN AWAY. i get that she's supposed to be this uber-feminist icon but she just came across as dumb and impulsive, in a horror movie she would be the first to die.

The most recent work to make use of the Sons of Malice, the novel Cadia Stands by Justin D. Hill, no longer makes any reference to the Warp entity Malice being worshipped or serving as the divine patron among the Sons of Malice. I have read the epilogue chapters in the nightingale anthology and it was mentioned that Killian was different. He was twisted and his way of thinking worried his parents. That was when he was a kid. Now he is a young man, all in his dark, broody glory, ready to destroy poor little Glyndon. Imagine that. The triggers in this book, like I was positively drooling. Not to mention the fact that he is compared with a young Aiden all the time lmao , that should alone give you a hint of how twisted he is. The girls friendship- okay, I love them. the way they are all friends and Remi and Creigh tag along. Remi's Humor is just so good. when the tension between Killian and his family happens, I wanted it to be drawn out more. I got emotional, regardless, but I still wanted moreI generally love Rina Kent, and Iā€™ve listened to every one of her books, but this one was a struggle. Also, was there a plot? The same conversation was repeated over and over again. And the one couple I'm halfway excited about will probably be ruined or just won't happen at all. Every night for weeks, I havenā€™t gotten more than two hours of hazy, nightmare-riddled sleep. Every time I close my eyes, Devlinā€™s kind face comes crashing in, then he smiles as scarlet red explodes from all of his orifices. Death of peace of mind ā€” bad omens (TMI ā€” the last part of the song genuinely scared me the first time I listened to it lmao my heart fr skipped a beat šŸ’€ I wasnā€™t expecting it and I couldnā€™t stop pissing myself laughing bc of my reactionšŸ˜) Not gonna lie, I was a little unsure at the beginning if the author could convince me to love Killian. Iā€™m not sure how she did it but here we are lol. Is he a good guy? Not at all. Is he pretty funny and somehow lovable? Surprisingly, yes. I was hooked through this whole book and couldnā€™t put it down.

Narration: When I saw all the narrators, I thought this was a full cast, but we get a few chapters from other POVs, just the one though. I'm a fan of Sebastian York, but their voice didn't seem age appropriate for God of Malice. It was off when we'd go from Josie Minor as Glyndon and then into Killian's chapters, didn't sound like a 19-year-old. I enjoyed Josie's narrations but wasn't a fan of the voiceovers for their dialogue with Killian. I enjoyed the brief cameos of Aaron, Wen, and Kylie, their voices were great for their one chapter, and will definitely be on the lookout for more by them. Understand this, Glyndon, there's nothing noble or tender about what I feel for you. It's a violent volcano of obsession, possession, and deranged lust. If you want love, then I do love you, but it's the unorthodox version of love." Killian and Glyndon's journey had me hooked from beginning to end! Right from the heart stopping moment these two are brought into each other's lives, i was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to see how everything would play out for them!Every time RK releases a new book, I'm ecstatic, regardless of the outcome, because I always get the feeling in my gut that tells me definitely my favourite sociopath up in here!! there were many of them too... but he took the cakešŸ„ŗ the soft side of Killian. Yeah, I know. Seems weird, but he has some swoony moments. Not too many lol but considering heā€™s not well versed in sweet or nice, I was pleasantly surprised

how duuuurty his mouth is šŸ„µ. Are you kidding me Killian? How dare you be this good? You have no business being such a f!lthy speaking 19 year-old šŸ’¦. Good LAWD. Save my kindle. Killian has spoken and itā€™s gonna melt šŸ”„ It was awesome getting into the Legacy of Gods world! I so enjoyed what all of the other characters brought to the story! Has me so excited for what's to come! I also loved the way i could picture everything so vividly in my mind. It brought even more depth to the characters and this audiobook for me. The Anti-Hero: Killian Carson - he is American and son to Asher Carson and Reina Ellis. Killian is a true Psychopath in every way. He is a fourth year med student despite only being 19 and an amateur photographer, he likes to take pictures of very dark subject matter. Glyndon has caught his eye and once he is focused on something, he doesnā€™t let up. I have said it before and I will say it again, but I absolutely love books about psychopathā€™s and sociopathā€™s that fall in love. I love it when someone who doesnā€™t feel emotions in the traditional way finally falls for one special person. Rina Kent does it so well. She is the reigning queen of the dark romance and I just love her anti-heroā€™s.Not Cole and Silver fans come here and rating this book with 1 star mounths before its release just because Ariella its not Killian love interest šŸ¤”šŸ¤” honestly this childish and toxic attitude on the part of Cole and Silver fans towards the Kings does not surprise me at all since they have always hated the Kings for no reason. SilverCole stan was always thie toxic and problematic part of this fandon. killian exhibited all the signs but tell me why i still didn't believe in it šŸ¤£šŸ˜ there must be something wrong in my brain for me to actually think killian is the most softest and tamest psycho i have ever read about... don't go through my dark and dirty bookshelf you'll think i'm insane. What a CrAzY ride! Twists and turns, rival college gangs, initiation like the hunger games into a secret society run by a group of psychopaths. But they have nothing on ā€˜Killerā€™ the boy who set his sights on the girl he shouldā€™ve left well enough alone. Also don't tell me RK turned her heroine into a sweet princess that secretly harbors a rape fantasy inside her little head?? How convenient. šŸ˜‚ I thought we already had that crap in Naomi Ɨ Seb book??? idk why i picture her as Felicity Smoak but she just has that vibe and she served it well. loml 2.0
