About this deal

All firmware is up-to-date. One Zoom Li-on can trigger the other in any AF mode, so this odd behavior is unique to the R2. The tilt adjustment feature enables users to adjust the flash head's position for optimal lighting. There is also a built-in LCD display that provides information such as the flash mode, power levels, and battery life. The approximate recycling time is 2.2 seconds.

GODOX TT350O Flash Unit for Olympus/Panasonic Cameras Black

If you're more used to/comfortable with studio strobes and would prefer those to speedlights for the work you do, they also exist in the Godox X system. And they also have battery-powered barebulb flashes and studio strobes. When using Godox 2.4G wireless X system, TT350 series are perfectly compatible with other products of our company. As a master unit, TT350 series can control the following slave unit models: AD600, AD600M, AD360II, AD200, etc. As a slave unit, TT350 series can be controlled the following master unit models: X1, V860II, V850II TT685, TT600, etc. My recommendation is if you want it as an on-camera flash, don't hesitate. If you want it as an on-camera transmitter, consider getting an X1T-O or wait for the XPro-O. If you want it only as an off-camera slave, I'd recommend a TT600 instead, because it's cheaper and has more power and because Idon't have HSS issues with it. But. YMMV. My TT350-O works perfectly on-camera with my GX7. TTL, HSS, 2nd curtain, S1/S2, etc. all work as expected. My only big complaint is that it only swivels 270º.To get really shallow depth of field with flash (especially outside), you need to use High-Speed Sync to overcome the limitation of the camera sync speed. To engage it, tap the Sync button once.

Often I use the x-t1f on the camera and it commands all my flashes while the canons are in slave mode. Set both flashes to the same channel and group. This allows them to automatically match power when you make a change. The list is basically the gear they had in-house to test with, not necessarily a complete compatibility list. I don't want to invest in two flash guns and a trigger if they don't work out out the box so to speak . Power is my secondary concern. I occasionally shoot large format. And when using it, I am concerned that the smaller TT350 won't have enough power. I.e. (EI 400 at f/16) In Master mode, press the Slave button to alternate between the Master group (M) and the A, B or C groups. I 've decided to go with multiple tt350s, and build more powerflashes in the future. My rational comes from the idea of "small and fun" which can be maximized with these small flashes. If they are bigger they would be more of an incumbent.

However, you can buy two TT350s for the price of a V860II. And while they don’t have built-in batteries, combined they can provide more power for less weight. Here’s a shot at 1/2000sec and f/1.4, ISO400 with HSS on. (You’ll find bumping the ISO helps save battery life, which is why I’m using ISO400 here). Two lightsI tried to use a TT350-O off-camera with my XPro-C on a 5Dii, and had no TTL control over it; it would only fire a full power. There's also no remote zoom control (but then I didn't have that with the XPro-O on my GX7, either). I did have M power, group, and HSS control. Any stand will do, even the cheap Photo-R stands . I find Neewer to be great value for money, although in the studio I prefer using C-Stands even with speedlights. Master and Slave How do I get the next level now? Do I get the flash off the camera and shoot through an umbrella or do I start looking at getting something more powerfull? The variety of opportunities will have lessened, but I will travel farther and faster with less. Therefore, I woul be able to find more opportunities. I've been in touch with a knowledgeable and helpful guy at Adorama who's an event shooter himself and Adorama's lead rep for Flashpoint flash gear. He's been very interested in my observations, and I get the impression he'll be passing the info to engineers for firmware fixes.

Godox tt350o Review - Digital Photography Review GX85 and Godox tt350o Review - Digital Photography Review

Interesting. It's pretty clear the X1T is all around a better transmitter unit to use than the TT350. It kind of depends on your definition of works. Panasonic users seem to be having a slightly harder time, particularly with HSS function, than Olympus users with the Godox -O gear. It's the perfect size/weight for my GX7. With the TT350 inside a 120cm Octa (with the diffuser on), you’re ready to get some big light from a small flash. With the Octa between you and the subject, you’ll get flattering light in the ‘Butterfly’ position. The flash can be zoomed to the desired coverage, and it’s pretty simple to change. Press the Zoom button once and then turn the wheel. Turning it to the right zooms the flash in, decreasing coverage. Turning the wheel to the left zooms the flash out, increasing the coverage. If you turn the wheel all the way to the left you’ll see the AU option, which allows the flash to set the zoom automatically, based on the lens on the camera. This is one of those compatible camera-only functions. Off-Camera Torn between those two flashes for my xt2. Use mostly shooting kids at home, kid birthdays, family functions, etc. Value smaller size of 350, but not sure if just go with 685 for its better performance. I am leaning toward 350, but hoping to hear from people with experience. Plan mostly on camera use in the near future. What do you think? Thanks! For example, the TT685 -C/-N/-S versions can be "smart" optical slave/master units. But the TT685-O can't do RC master/slave. As an on-camera transmitter with TT600 units as slaves, everything works perfectly. Remote power control and HSS are flawless. However, as a YN-622 user, I note that there's no remote zoom control, and no setting groups into MULTI mode remotely.
