There are some mental gymnastics needed here but overall, it’s just annoying that it’s not so easy to do like the Garmin. The Garmin just says, if you want to hit to 100 meters, you need to hit 162 meters. That’s it. None of this graphical bullshit that looks nice but can’t give you what you need without going through mathematics. Connecting the charger improperly may cause serious damage to the device. Any damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty Please access the Main Menu by pushing the "Menu" button on the unit, or by touching the "Main Menu" selection from the "Locating Satellites" screen.
Still lower in the band (I targeted a watch under RM1k), you will get the cheaper ones like S12, S10 – which depending on your risk appetite, you could find some as low as RM500+ on Shoppee. I wouldn’t trust that too much though – probably in the region of RM700 for S10 or RM800 for S12 or RM1000 for S20. These were the ones in general I was comparing the W11 to. But W11 comes with touch screen, which the cheaper Garmin models did not have. In fact the probable comparison of the W11 would be with the S40, which I think the cheapest I could get to was around is probably 1.4k. Anything cheaper than that right now, I’d probably think twice.The screen turns off if the WTX is not used within a specified period of time. This can be changed under "Settings→ Display → Screen time out". You can search courses by country, state, and city. You can also look up when the course was last updated.

Select the Tools icon and you will see an option labeled "language." You can select your desired language setting from this menu. View the dismissed notifications from your smartphone which is connected to the WTX. When you run the Notifier, a list of notifications dismissed earlier will be shown on the screen. Tap the specific notification in the list to view its detail, and it will automatically be removed from the list. This is great for courses that don’t have pre-mapped data, and I found it to be incredibly accurate.The watch also has a “green view” mode that will help you figure out how far away from the green edge you are. This is useful on long putts!
If the unit does not last near 2 rounds of golf, please make sure you are charging the unit for about 4 hours prior to use. GOLFBUDDY casting: Using the GOLFBUDDY Smart app you can cast yardages, and other golf GPS features from GOLFBUDDY aim V10 to a smart device wirelessly when synced via Bluetooth. Once set up, "GOLFBUDDY Smart” will be available with just the simple press of a button. During the game, I found myself using it a lot – in fact, almost every stroke except chipping and putting. The simple distance to green is primarily used 95% of the time. I hardly tinker around with the other features, except for after the whole to input my score and the number of putts I did.

It makes it very easy to see the entire hole at once, and I never had any problems with it not working properly. When the battery is charged in a high temperature room such as inside a car during the summer, the device may heat up and it can cause the battery to explode or deform the device.
Select the Tool icon and you will see a category called Language. You can select your desired language here. I was pleasantly surprised with how accurate this watch ended up being; I was able to consistently get within a yard of my actual distance. The Visiblity can be turned off if you no longer want your WTX to be discoverable to other bluetooth enabled devices.
If there is sweat or liquid on the charging terminals, corrosion may occur on the terminals. Clean the terminals before charging the battery.
