Hey there! Um, ya know, this is all really just a big misunderstanding, ya see? Your sister's not in danger She's just marrying all one thousand of us and become our gnome queen for all eternity. It's amazing! Grunkle Stan said I was being paranoid, but according to this book, Gravity Falls has this secret dark side. One of my most anticipated books in 2016 after I watched Gravity Falls and completely fell head over heels with the series.

They shipped us up north to a sleepy town called Gravity Falls, Oregon, to stay at our great-uncle's place in the woods. And when I found out ALEX HIRSCH was doing a signing for the book at my local Barnes and Noble, I just about exploded with joy.

Several letters can be seen printed in purple, and when combined, it spells out the sentence, STAY WEIRD. Special edition [ ] Fiddleford is stated to have met Blind Ivan when he was still working for Ford, and secretly recruited him into the Society of the Blind Eye without Ford realizing, by slipping him a card with the society's symbol. However, in the show, Fiddleford is stated to have founded the society after parting ways with Ford and after he erased his memory, basing the symbol on a crossed-out blueprint of the portal.Absolutely"? - I rigged it! - Mabel, I know you're going through your whole "boy crazy" phase, - but I think you're kind of overdoing it with the "crazy" part. I love Gravity Falls with the fiery burning passion of a million blazing suns holding a barbecue. It's smart, funny, full of heart, colorful, imaginative, and basically as perfectly executed a show as anyone could hope for. Adults and kids love it in equal measure and no wonder. The gnomes are a powerful race! Do not trifle with the Aaaah! He's getting away with our queen! No, no, no!!! Seat belt.

To begin, I suppose that I should note the Journal is best enjoyed by people who have finished watching Gravity Falls. The first section - the Author's original notes - are enjoyable without any context, as well as Dipper and Mabel's additions that they make throughout the show's run, but after that, things kind of require the context of the show to be fully understood and appreciated. Trust shouldn't be given unconditionally, but it should be given a chance to be earned. There is strength in having the humility to work with and sacrifice for others... I decided to consult the journal "Known for their pale skin and bad attitudes, "these creatures are often mistaken for Teenagers?! "Beware Gravity Falls's nefarious 'Sup? Zombie!" Did somebody say "cromby"? What is that, "cromby"? It's not even a word. Hirsch, Alex. Goodbye Gravity Falls. Tumblr. Archived from the original on November 21, 2015. He is best known for creating Gravity Falls on Disney XD. He was raised in Piedmont, California, and received a BFA in Character Animation from The California Institute of the Arts. He currently lives in Los Angeles, and is at work developing projects for Film & TV.

The setting of the book is important because only Gravity Falls can have such weirdness in its boundaries. The narrator is reliable because he is the character in the story and this is his journal entries. A theme that recurs throughout the book is that weirdness is in the world for a reason. This theme can be seen when Ford talks to Dipper about how them being in Gravity Falls was similar to a destiny. Ford motivation is to find his purpose in life and find out where something weird like him belongs. Daisies? You scallywag! Is my sister really dating a zombie, or am I just going nuts? It's a dilemma, to be sure. I was surprised when Ford and Stan had decided switched places to defeat Bill because Stan was a selfish man, giving up his entire life for his family. I was moved when Mabel and Dipper had gotten mad at each other because it not only happened before a terrible disaster, but Mabel and Dipper have promised each other earlier that nothing similar to Ford and Stan would happen between them. Thus, it should not be surprising that Gravity Falls: Journal 3 serves as a GREAT companion piece to the show! Initially, when I opened the journal, I went through it while watching a Gravity Falls marathon. I spent a lot of time oohing and aahing about the fact that what I saw on tv was in direct correlation with what I had in my hands. Once I got over my excitement, which I admit was more than that of my 9 year old, I began to actually read the journal. Admiring the illustrations and skimming through the journal took second and third place, respectfully, to reading and appreciating the life lessons embedded throughout the work.
