I’ve loved lighthouses since I was a girl, and I know I would have pored over this book many times during preschool and early elementary grade ages. I enjoyed viewing the lighthouse rooms and their contents. Entrancing and enchanting. As a child the pictures could have kept me captivated for long periods of time. The principal, school administration and staff engage in ongoing learning and develop as leaders, while championing leadership for the school. MEDINA: When I think of the Newbery, I think of all the books over the years that I have read and loved - the books that shaped my children's lives. And I just hold them in such high regard. And there's a piece of you - it always feels like it couldn't possibly be you, and it was. And that was the amazing thing.

A lovely, eye-catching book that children will pore over, caught up in its magic.
