Now lets turn to optical quality, probably which is the most desirable feature of these bins. They are simply superb in optics in this price range.

Olympus 10X50 DPS I Binoculars – Procular

Here is a my opinions of Olympus DPS I 10X50. I have used them for quite long time, and almost in every situation. This review is a small contribution on my side for this forum. I simply love to discuss and share the experiences about binoculars. The DPS R Series' eyepiece has a specially formulated lens element with anti-UV protection that cuts harmful ultraviolet rays. Designed to minimize eye strain during extended use, the lineup is ideal for sightseeing, camping and other outdoor pursuits. Except for the 7-15x35 Zoom DPS R model, the lineup has a wide-angle apparent 65° field of view. Incorporating an aspherical lens made of optical resin, the eyepiece cuts distortion dramatically and delivers a large and sharp image. By cutting distortion to a minimum, the aspherical lens in the eyepiece ensures that the image is sharp and clear.

Best Application

The Olympus Olympus 10x50 DPS-1 binoculars ( learn more here! )are the ideal pair for a blossoming explorer or seasoned traveller and will surely be perfect for you too. Let’s have a look at why: Brightness is amazing. I just cant belive how good their light gathering capacity is. Probably, if anybody asks which feature u like most in this bins,i would immediately say, its their brightness. Even in twilight, they give you good bright images.

Close focus is 19.7 ft on paper. But i could focus clearly for about 15 ft. Still it is not good for butterfly watchers especially. The width of the binocular lens barrel (i.e. 42mm) is the equivalent of an aperture in camera lenses and is an important value in determining the amount of light entering the binoculars, and thus the luminance of the scene as it appears in the eye piece. The larger the barrel (the greater the number), the brighter the scene will appear. The downside to a wider barrel optics is that the physical size and weight of the binoculars is increased. Suitable for night viewing – The massive 50mm lenses is perfect for those night goers as it lets a lot more light in than a set of binoculars with smaller lenses does – and it still provides a quality clear view.

Heavy duty – These binoculars consist of 855 grams in weight so they are definitely built to last, but not recommended to use for hours without a tripod. Features:1.2cm eye relief – extra wide 65° field of view – High-quality protective coating – Easy to use focus wheels. IPD measures 60-70mm on paper. But actually the measurement goes about 60-73mm. It wont besuitable for kids and people with small faces.
