This isn’t a terrible-sounding set, and its built-in speakers are relatively balanced and clear, but its presentation is quite narrow and congested, offering none of the spaciousness or punch of the best flatscreens around. The CX680 is an Ultra HD 4K TV at a price point which makes it very affordable for the end user and at the same time adds in the latest must-have features. It has quad-core processing driving the FireFox operating system which runs Panasonic’s Smart TV and Home Screen 2.0 for 2015. For smart features the Panasonic HX600 keeps things brief. My Home Screen 5.0 is replaced with Essential Apps and that includes Netflix, Prime Video, Rakuten TV, YouTube and BritBox among a few others. With Freeview Play, the HX600 brings all the UK catch-up TV apps such as BBC iPlayer, All 4 and My5 under its umbrella. If you've been on the fence about buying a Panasonic television - let us squash any fears and doubts you might have - Panasonic is an incredibly reliable brand of TV. That's why we could pull together a list of the best Panasonic TVs - the brand has been consistently manufacturing quality screens for decades. Its latest generation of 4K TVs are not only more affordable, they're among some of the best televisions ever made. In the search for the best television, however, Panasonic is often overlooked - making them a particularly underrated brand, but don't let their underdog status fool you, they're quite brilliant. As you'll soon see from our roundup of the best best Panasonic TVs below. The best Panasonic TVs of 2023 at a glance:

When a Bluetooth device is connected to the TV, it is possible that the Bluetooth audio output may not be synchronized (i.e. be delayed) with relation to the images on the screen. This is not a defect of the TV or the device. The delay time will differ depending on the device. From an audio point of view, it’s as you are with a flatscreen TV – bass is limited, dynamically it’s flat and it’s unsurprisingly thin. Enabling either Smart Sound or Movie results in a bigger, more focused soundstage, but the HX600 also gets a bit “shouty” with voices in Smart Sound mode, even at lower volumes. Atmos helps refine matters with content that supports it, but the set’s dynamic limitations give the performance a cramped feel. Consider pairing this TV with an external sound system to get more energy and weight out of what you watch. We always recommend partnering your new TV with a separate sound system if possible, and that’s most certainly the case with the Panasonic EX750. Complexions look natural and varied, more so than on the Philips, although at times they can verge on rather pallid. I’d wager its skin tones are the more accurate, the HX600 capturing the complexions and facial features of Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s multi-racial cast with more nuance and detail. Switching to the Warm colour tone does add some more punch. User, Standard, Vivid, Sport, Movie, Music, NewsDolby DAP: Game, Movie, Music, News, Stadium, Smart Languages (English, German, French, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Croatian, Czech, Dutch, Greek, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Turkish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Ukrainian, Serbian, Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, Gaelic, Macedonian, Kazakh, Thai, Belarussian) For sound there’s Dolby Atmos, and like every other TV at this price, it isn’t the overhead and immersive version; instead, it aims to produce better processing with supported content. Sound is outputted through the set’s 2 x 10W speakers. Dolby Vision is a set of technologies used to enhance contrast, depth and colour so users get the most out of their cinematic experience. This technology works similarly to standard HDR (high dynamic range) but offers less generic video improvement, giving films a wonderful new level of immersion as you've never experienced before. Are Panasonic TVs worth it?We tested the TX-50CX680B in the usual two rooms we have here. We have a normal living room with two large windows and plenty of light for some of our testing and we also have a completely light controlled cinema room where we can test even further and in more controlled surroundings. We tested with normal DVB broadcast material, SD content from DVD, 1080/24 Blu-ray along with the 4K apps on the TV and native 4K material we have shot ourselves. The image quality out of the box based on this review set is excellent and offers very close to the standards quality without a professional calibration. The Smart TV features are superb and provide 4K UHD content when it is still hard to find on other formats, and the overall performance vs price and the fact it is available at a number of high street and online retailers makes it a Best Buy in our opinion.

Reviews - TX-50MX650B 4K Ultra HD LED Televisions - Panasonic

There’s no HCX processor seen in Panasonic’s more advanced TVs. Instead, the HX600 has the brand’s 4K HDR Studio Colour image that shoots for a more realistic look to its pictures. Support for HDR extends to HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision HDR, the latter helping to refine the HX600’s HDR performance with supported content given the set’s limited brightness. Go from your phone, tablet, or laptop to your TV in an instant. With Chromecast built-in, you can cast all your favorite movies, shows, apps, games, and more directly to your TV. Energy consumption XYZ kWh per year, based on the power consumption of the television operating 4 hours per day for 365 days. The actual energy consumption will depend on how the television is used. Replacing the HX600 from 2020, the new JX600 is available in two sizes (50- and 43-inch), and aims to appeal to film fans, TV watchers and gamers.
