After the teams get split up and mixed, Ainsley is happily paired with Avery again and they all get to work. As Victoria starts brainstorming, Ainsley steps in and makes the design simpler, something the whole team agrees with. After they finish Angelina walks down the runway in their cosmic inspired dress, impressing Maria and winning Ainsley and her team the win. While not physically appearing, she has an important role in the episode. It is revealed that she is now becoming a fashion focus, also revealed that she has been keeping her designs a secret to most of her friends, including her best friend, Avery. June 11th, 2021: Jett makes her first 3D animated appearance in the episode " The Final Runway Show". She originally had tan skin similar to Skyler Bradshaw, but it was changed into a darker skin tone.

Ainsley makes an awkward entrance at the beginning of the episode with her friends, later being seen reacting to all of Shadow High's pranks. Unlike the other students however, she suspiciously did not seem particularly upset or offended by this. Both of them are revealed to be close friends as Jett even mentions how carefully Lily's grandmother works to Amaya. They are passionate about fashion and share their love of it. Her style appears to be inspired by Moschino's Spring 2019 Ready-to-Wear collection, emphasizing "magic marker squiggles and dots". Karma mentions her again, this time talking about her tripping and being caught by Aidan. While she highly praises Aidan, she calls Ainsley's trip a fail, even claiming she looks like she's gonna fly away and take off. The Jett Dawson is the twenty-first episode released for the animated series Rainbow High, and the third episode of Season 2.

Ainsley briefly introduces herself to the Project Rainbow viewers, stating she thinks she has an advantage over Rainbow High. Her former wig is actually very similar to Amaya's Series 1 hair in the animated series: therefore, it is heavily possible that Amaya's Series 1 hair is in fact a recolor of Avery's former wig (as everything in the hair's structure is the same). Her Junior High doll features her with textured curly hair, implying that her natural hair is curly.

Jett is seen for a split second in one of the clips, with Violet exclaiming how she's excited to meet new people. Now being in the final four, she is paired up Shanelle to design an outfit for Blu inspired by Rainbow High. Both girls get to work and do well until it comes to designing, with Shanelle wanting a ball gown and Ainsley wanting a pantsuit. They try to combine these ideas with little success, with Maria and the other judges thinking their prototype was messy and awkward. Rainbow High are some of my favorite dolls right now. I collect them (have all of them so far except one Slumber Party doll and the new Pacific Coast dolls that are about to come out) and I customize them and I love doing so.Jett makes a small appearance, being shown to have worked with Gabriella on costumes for the play. She also tells them that she loves using heat tech in her textiles and sewing.
