In conclusion. I'm really impressed with these headphones. They offer better active noise cancellation and have a flatter sound profile than the Apollo Bold's, are a fraction of the price of the Sony WF1000XM3’s and yet offer a comparable degree of noise cancelling, almost match the Lypertek Tevi’s with regard to the earbud battery life and offer a really good balance of sound quality and value for money. Highly recommended for their price. Attachments ANC is very good for this price point. It is quite aggressive at removing mid to low frequencies, and takes a slight edge off higher frequencies. It does however, hiss noticeably in complete silence and doesn’t do much for removing the sounds of people talking (especially loudly). The SoundPEATS T2 offer good sound quality for the price. Overall, they sound fairly well rounded and balanced for a pair of wireless earbuds, the treble, mid and bass is all present and isn’t outweighing or fighting for airtime between one another. The earbuds are powered by 12mm drivers which offer good stereo separation for providing an immersive listening experience to both music and visual content such as YouTube videos, TV shows and movies. The earbuds offer a well-balanced sound for the price. The T2 cuts off the brighter, sharp edges of the SoundPEATS Q and Sonic, and has a warmer, friendlier sound. As a result, it can sound a little closed-in.As with many warm-inclined headphones, the low and lower-mid range can exhibit some congestion but for this particular model this is a matter of non-boosted midrange instead of congestion – as, technically speaking, this is a very flat midrange tuned earphone. Setting up the SOUNDPEATS T2 Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earbuds is as easy as any other Bluetooth headphones. As usual, it’s suggested to fully charge them before first use. Once that is finished, opening the lid while the earbuds are in the charging case automatically sets them into pairing mode (only the first time, not every subsequent time you open the lid). Find them in your phone or other device’s Bluetooth menu and tap on SOUNDPEATS T2 to pair. When you want to use them after that, just open the lid of the charging case and they connect to your phone automatically. Pairing them to another device is easy as well – hold the multi-function button on either earbud for 6 seconds and they enter pairing mode again. This does not unpair them from the original device. To switch between devices in the future, you have to manually disconnect (but not unpair) them from one device to get them to connect to the other, which is what I’ve come to expect when switching the same earbuds between devices.
As far as the overall design goes for the earbuds, there’s not too much to complain about. The design is functional and, most importantly, they’re comfortable to wear when listening to them. Charging Case I’m willing to overlook it because of the great overall sound. There’s some mid-range clarity that can be difficult to hear. Now the sound stage is the second area. They got it almost right for me, but it’s just not very big. There’s totally a clear separation between left and right channels, but they just never really get a sound stage that kind of goes outside the boundaries of my head it’s still decent, but it’s not the best that I’ve heard. The earbuds don't look too special, but their oval shape with a slight bump on the inside follows your ears' shape and makes them comfortable to wear for hours. The case may feel a bit heavy - the earbuds don't. The earpieces may move a little bit when you shake your head, but they're likely to stay in good, and the sound isn't altered by it. What's more, is that they are IPX5 waterproof - meaning they should survive rain and sweat.The SoundPeats T2 is the company’s first foray into Active Noise Cancellation. For a reasonable price point they have a lot up their sleeve, but how well do these fare in real life? Ultra long playtime up to 10 hours with single charge (8 hours with ANC mode on), and another 2 recharges provided by the charging case to ensure your daily or weekly use. Equipped with Type-C charging port for your convenience with wide applicability. The LEDs on the charging case tells you clearly the power left. Pleasant Sound & Large Driver Unfortunately, the equalizer function appears to be disabled by SoundPeats. The app also does not appear to be available for Windows 10 or iOS (understandably so as it pertains to Apple clones). As long as your earbuds are powered on they preserve the settings made on the app and so you can just disconnect then connect them to a second device (eg. Windows 10 laptop). This is the only way on Windows 10 you can use low latency mode, for example. (the connection is much better, probably because SBC is being used instead of AAC). The SoundPEATS T2 puts most of its effort into the lower frequencies - it sounds deep and full in these areas. There's a mid-bass thump, with a nicely rumbling sub-bass you can feel in songs that pave the way for it, like James Blake's test case Limit to Your Love. Both the mid-bass and sub-bass aren't the tightest or most textured, and when multiple basslines come together, things can even get a little muddy.
The front has a lip for easy control of the lid, and three charge lights at the front. Whereas the TrueEngine3se had the lights inside, recent Soundpeats releases have recognised that displaying on the case is far more useful, even upgrading the TrueAir2 to support this with their second iteration (so I am told)They got vibrant highs, as I said, they got excellent ANC and good ambient mode Soundpeats T2 are great for watching movies. They’re actually great for running and working out as well the controls, the Bluetooth, and the battery life is all excellent.
