At this moment though there aren't any 5 Alives for sale but in the future someone may put one up for sale. The two games have a couple different special cards, the players only get three lives in Boom-O instead of the five in 5 Alive, and instead of counting to 21 in Boom-O you are counting to 60 seconds.

None of the special cards add to the running total so there is no punishment for playing “wild” cards. If the only cards in your hand are number cards that will put the running total over 21, do not play a card on your turn. Players play numbered cards to a running total of 21 but can't go over - if they do, they lose a life!

Since 5 Alive was actually created before Boom-O, I actually see Boom-O as a reimplementation of 5 Alive. You must be over 18, a resident of the country offering Afterpay, and meeting additional eligibility criteria to qualify.If the card you played was the last card in your hand, all of the other players must flip over one of their Alive cards. If you play with 3 players in 5 alive and you play the bomb card, and if the other players do have the 0 card and the turn comes back to you.
