I personally dropped my hybrid and added the extra wedge because I was hitting my 3 iron just as far as the hybrid and I don't have the tendency to top the 3 iron like I did with the hybrid. If you're more of a feel player you may prefer having less wedges and just adjusting them to fit the situation.

If you're comfortable with your gaps and can hit the numbers in-between by clubbing up and swinging shorter/choking down then I see zero reason for you to change honestly.What I had not thought of is that the normal 4* gap between clubs also includes a 1/4" shaft difference. New wedges with all the grind options allow for better gapping while still being able to hit the shots. I play the 48 at 135 yards, the 52 at 125 yards and the 58 up to 110 yards but try not to use it for more than 100 because hitting it harder just makes it spin more.
