There were multiple times that I found myself smiling and giggling while reading their banter and honestly their chemistry leapt off of every single page. Eve learns that she had what she needed to be happy all along, and that it was everyone else who needed to understand, and not her who needed to change. As well, Jacob only wants to have sex with people he wants to spend forever with and is very clear about that, which causes some tension later on in the book.

Talia is, quite brillant at balancing the story's witty banter and silly hijinks with some real emotional depth and character development throughout the narrative. I'm really drawn to them, and I actively seek out romances with characters who are not neutrotypical. I went into this one knowing that I was going to love it, but I truly did not expect to fall for Eve and Jacob as hard as I did. If you’re looking for a captivating romance that you won’t be able to put down, you need to pick up Act Your Age, Eve Brown.Eve and Jacob are both immensely lovable and charming main characters, and their relationship is the cutest. If you tell me there’s a book about two autistic people finding love and happiness, I’m going to read it, and Eve Brown did not disappoint! Even though her inner voice may be telling her she was a mess, she always showed how tough she really was.
