The AC power adapter features a locking power cable and there is also a dual Sony NP-F battery plate that attaches via V-mount. Though it does connect to the light very quickly, and adjustments happen instantly, navigating the app is a mess. While the knob is the sole method of manually controlling the light, apart from the on/off switch, you can download the Sidus Link app and control the COB 60x via Bluetooth. The amaran 60d/60x comes with a Hyper Reflector (Mini) that Aputure states are specially designed with a 15° Beam Angle.

Building on features from the previous generation of amaran products, the P60x also includes an integrated charging circuit that allows it to charge Sony NP-F batteries when the fixture is connected to AC power.In addition, both fixtures have a range of built-in lighting effects: paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulsing, strobe and explosion.
