About this deal

The charging case for the Life Dot 2 earbuds is pretty hefty and has some weight to it as it provides a total of 100 hours of listening before needing to be plugged in – but I’ll get onto the battery specifics later on during the review. The only thing is that they’re a little bulky in the ear and most of the time I can only fit one in my helmet without struggling. It is the longest battery life I have personally seen on a pair of earbuds, with the case packing in a 2,6000 mAh battery which is larger than the battery in my phone.

This is the reason I kept the A1s over the Dot 2s, though if would mostly use them for listening at home, then I would have kept the Dot 2s. Superior Balanced Sound:Life Dot 2 true wireless earbuds have 8mm triple-layer dynamic drivers to deliver 40% more bass and 100% more treble for rich, expertly balanced sound. There is no multipoint, but they quickly switch between memorized sources—no need to disconnect from one to connect to another. The earbuds definitely have a warmer and bass focused sound profile, but this does not hinder the clarity of the highs and treble – it all sounds fairly well balanced. And with charging from the case, the headphones should last as much as 100 hours—excellent bonuses: Bluetooth 5.

You can take out, for example, the right earpiece, start the music, then take out the left one; the music will sound in both. All accessories are neatly laid out, and there is a piece of paper with the question “how do we sound? The headphones in it are held by magnets (like the lid, by the way) and hold on tightly; you cannot purposefully shake them out.

The Life Dot 2 is powered by 8mm dynamic drivers, giving a sound that offers clear treble and deep bass. Due to the peculiarities of the emphasis on the low frequencies, the middle here is somewhat failed. The additional fasteners-spacers caused, most of all, concerns about the convenience in me (from experience). But still, if there is no problem in the cold season to throw a case into a jacket pocket, then there will be problems with summer clothes. I couldn't find any good comparisons of the differences in sound quality between these two earbuds, and I have tried both so I thought I should make a brief post on this.

The AirWings could come in quite handy if you want to use these with running, Soundcore includes a few different sizes of both ear tips and AirWings in the box to ensure that you can get the best fit for you.The Bass mode has stupid amounts of bass, to much for me to listen to in any normal setting, which I'm saying as quite a basshead who enjoys bass boosted headphones.
