Description

The turntable is available in black (AT-LP60XBT-BK), white/black (AT-LP60XBT-WH), and red/black (AT-LP60XBT-RD). It is as if there is finite space in which a piece can work, and as more elements are squashed in, it becomes more a block of sound than something where lines are audibly picked out.

The AT-LP60XUSB plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and is equipped with a USB output that allows direct connection to your computer. Currently, there isn’t a model that includes all the features, so you have to select which options that are most important for you. font-weight:bold;">Featuring a USB output, the Audio Technica AT-LP60XUSB not only makes a quality player but also a great deck from which to archive your vinyl to computer. Be sure to subscribe to my Devoted to Vinyl YouTube channel, and drop me a comment below one of my videos to say hello! Everything is tested by our dedicated team of in-house reviewers in our custom-built test rooms in London, Reading and Bath.I’ve outlined several key similarities and differences between these two models, but there’s a couple addition improvements when it comes to the LP60X that I want to point out. What’s nice, too, is that Audio-Technica gives you the option to be able to play this turntable via a wired or wireless connection. Here, you’re really just going to want to make sure that the belt isn’t twisted up—that part of the belt isn’t bent backwards or anything. Now, if you do want to connect this turntable to something like powered speakers, you’re actually going to want to directly connect the speakers to the AT-LP60X’s rear panel 1/8” mini jack. So now, you can—from the top down—see which button changes the speed of the record player, which button starts and stops the turntable, and which button lifts the tonearm up and down.

Then, using your index finger and thumb, pull the red ribbon (and drive belt) over the motor pulley. Two powered speakers that will be great companions for the AT-LP60X are the Audioengine A5 Plus and the Edifier S1000DB. That said, the AT-LP60X is still an entry-level turntable, and it won’t sound as good as audiophile turntables. Ty was nominated for Best New Journalist at the Australian IT Journalism awards, but he has only ever won one thing.Another small but improved visual detail that I like is how the dust cover meets the top of the turntable.

This updated version of the AT-LP60-USB features a redesigned tonearm base and headshell to improve tracking and reduce resonance. br>
Cable it up
Audio Technica has made it easy to hook up the AT-LP60XBT to non-Bluetooth equipped hi-fi systems, too. Note: After installation, please allow the Super Vivid belt to settle by playing it for 10-15 minutes. With the size and rotation speed of the record set, all you need do is place it on the platter and press the start button.

And lastly, the AT-LP60XHP that has a headphone output with volume control and comes with headphones included. Simply pair the turntable with your speaker and enjoy fuss-free connectivity within a range of around 10m. Very simple to set up and use - clear and open sound - a perfect quality starter turntable for my 14-year old daughter! With it’s fully automatic functionality, it’s plug and play design (thanks to a built a phono preamp) and the various colors the record player comes in, the AT-LP60X is a perfect option for any beginner that values convenience in the world of vinyl.
